How long can the bad luck go on for, or is it really bad luck. I wonder...

Even when I micro-low roll, I still can't last more than 20 mins in casinos they have got that tight.

I managed to win 10 free spins on the Jack and the Beanstalk slot and I win 30 coins. This has been happening on every damn casino and slot ive played in the last year. Hence why I never bet high anymore, Becasue slots have got that tight, I bust out in 3 mins if I bet £1 to £2 on slots. I mean how long can bad luck run. I really beginning to think casinos are all fixed. There is bad luck and then there is just plain getting ripped off. Ive not made a withdrawel in over a year. I am frecking done. My username says it all. I really have had enough.

Seriously? What does the economy have to do with RNG. Are you saying they tweak their payout on bets based on the economy? If so, that is not random.

Interesting he says that, Before the recession, I had good runs and bad runs on the casinos, up and down, win some, lose some. That is variance as to be expected with RNG. I probley lost more than I won over time, But I would get winning sessions which made up for the losing. I played for fun and even thou lost alot at times, I still injoyed playing as I knew there was a chance of winning and at times I did, Also like everyone else, hope to win big. :) No one plays to lose. It's like any Relationship, It is about give and take. So I was very happy with casinos at one time. Even when I lost, I got great play time.
Since the recession, Well atleast for me, I found a complete change in the casinos payout, It been nothing but take and no give, No variance I can see. Very small wins that does not warrant a withdrawal. And like any Relationship when it becomes one sided and takes and dont give, It just wont work anymore and that Relationship must be ended.:axeman2:

If youre having bad luck on a certain casino/network I suggest you change. Ive stated this a few times on the forum but I had to leave MG. All I ever did was deposit thousands of dollars there and never hit a thing. Id play 12 hour sessions and my biggest hits were $20 on $1-$2 bets. I have no idea why I ran so cold for so long but in the end, I had enough. Before you pour too much money chasing a win just change casino's and try elsewhere. I was tempted numerous times to try MG all over again because a lot of their slots have amazing features and great graphics. Instead, i requested a network ban so I wouldnt be tempted to play there ever again.

I hope your luck changes because going cold really SUCKS

(btw I tried the same network youre on and I ran bad never hitting a thing so maybe its high variance slots)

If RNGs were that random, casinos would have exactly the same chance of going bust as some players do lol.

Although RNGs are random, surely there will be some ways for the casinos to set it to make money and not loss.

However, having said that I do think sometimes luck play a big part. Right machine... Right timing etc etc. but what amazes me the most is, I used to have a pretty decent return and then as soon as I hit a couple of big ones (50k+) ... I can not get even 20% back on MG slots.., so now I am taking a break from it all... Maybe that's something you can try ... Buy an Xbox or ps3 for those itchy nights :)

I beg to differ here.

The game can be 100% random and the casino will still make a tidy sum in the long run.

The casino ensures this via house edge e.g. the chance of rolling a 7 with two dice in craps is 6:1 and the casino offers odds of 4:1 so they can't lose. If casinos could go bust simply because games are random, there would be no such animal as live bj, roulette, poker etc. The only way a casino can go bust is by accepting action they can't cover I.e. terrible management. A casino has nothing to fear from randomness if they have the mathematical edge.

You can totally blow your life savings on a random slot set at 99% rtp which is 100% random....actually, it could happen on a 105% slot. A slot is designed to return a set % of money invested per cycle of every possible combination. If there are 2 million possible reel combinations, then once every single combo has come up at least once the casino will have returned the RTP % e.g. 95, 96 etc. Of course, it will take far more than 2 million spins for every unique combo to appear, so you can see that it is very difficult for any one player to achieve the set RTP personally as it is unlikely that they will experience all 2 million combos. Still, someone might hit the top payout in their first 50 spins and have an RTP of 1000%+.....and someone might play for ten years and never hit it and be lucky to achieve 88% RTP.. All of this happens on a totally random slot as a matter of course.

There is no evidential basis to blame the "economy" for your losses. You may as well blame next door's budgie or increased solar flares. All these reasons are equally invalid.

If you play casino games, and slots in particular, then you have to expect to lose most times and win occasionally. If you expect more, then maybe you have HAD ENOUTH and its time to pack it in. The economy might affect the promotions etc you receive, but suggesting that it causes operators to "rig" their games is "flat earther" stuff.

they would never tweek there settings to acomadate for a lowere handle why they would certainly go down with the ship
you know thats the truth dont you is it fair or is it memorex

Nifty, thank you for explaining how the RTP works and the percentages. I always thought the percentages were based on each individual and not the game as a whole. I have asked reps about this and it was never explained as well as you did. Thanks!!!

If it was based on each individual, noone could ever win.
If that was the case you might as well go to the cashier, deposit $100 and take out your $95, and be done with it, unless you're just there to enjoy the pretty colors on the slotmachine ;).
OP's original question, "how long can bad luck go on".....well, assuming the games are random, it could potentionally go on forever. Statistically, the chance of it going on just gets lower each time you play, but statistics are no guarantee....just statistics.

My 2 cents to HadEnough

You might need a break. I took a 6-year break from online gambling (going to land casinos about twice a year) and only played for fun and with numerous free chip offers. Recently I decided to get my feet wet again and I have been having a blast! I have not withdrawn yet, but I know my time will come. This is what I am doing. Taking my time and trying out the different "accredited" casinos. I play for fun or on a free chip. If I am feeling lucky at the casino, then I will deposit (a small sum) and see if my luck holds out.

Right now, I have been very busy at 3Dice and of course my old favorite InetBet. I had a $25 free chip from Lucky Club and hit an amazing 1000X bet ($1.00) but was not able to make the WR. I do plan on depositing there soon though to try my luck, when I have some "disposable" income.

I downloaded Club World based on the great comments here, but they keep disconnecting ("by an administrator") my fun play. Not sure what that is about. Am I using too much of their bandwidth?

So, some advice from a "high roller" who was always chasing my losses. Take a break...forget about the losses...they are gone forever. Come back with a new perspective and just have FUN!!!!

The software automatically disconnects you every 10 - 15 minutes. Nothing you can do about it. And its not a "person" doing it, its auto in the software etc.

meant to clarify. Its the "fun mode" etc. It doesn't happen in real play etc.
