Which strategie do you have for hitting a random Jackpot?
Make you deposit on RTG and only play one RTG Random Jackpot or go to the next after many loose spinns.

Do you choice the highest Random Jackpot or a little?
Have you favourites?

Is here anyone who have a list which Random Jackpot beat by certain amount?
Like yxz falls by 1200-1400 or zyx falls by 4000-7200?

Thanks

I have won three random jackpots at RTGs. Two were in the $2500 range and one was over $7800. There seems to be no pattern they follow. It is purely being in the right place at the right time. I have tried to play for RJs when they get huge and it is just a huge waste of time and money. When the chips decide to fall just hope you are there to catch them. :)

I still find it odd that some people keep hitting the random jackpots where players that have been playing for years never hit one once. This is not like the lottery where you have millions playing it, but a few hundred in any given casino.

I have hit the Rapid Fire ones multiple times and also the Super Hero ones.

But the Random Jackpot still eludes me to this day..so odd..you would think if you played almost everyday, you would catch one sooner or later, but it has NEVER happened as it did with the other two. which finally after a few MONTHS gave up the prize multiple times.

I get the odd feeling that most of the hits are by people that cannot collect the majority of the jackpot and they a slanted to hit them more often than not. Just a thought..

For me as you probably know since I have referred to it more than once I didn't get the $7800.00 because I was playing with a bonus. I was able to cash out $1000.00 only.

I have since found out this is unique to this one casino due to the size of the bonuses they offer. This info came from the casino manager. Another RTG manager told me there are no restrictions on cashing out once the WR are met. I had read the T&Cs and knew when I hit the larger jackpot I wasn't going to get it all. Made me sick. LOL...

Both of the Random Jackpots I hit for $2500+ I was playing with no bonus and cashed out with no problem.

If I knew what the secret was I would tell you but it seems to be simply dumb luck. I am not playing RTGs right now so won't be winning anymore anytime soon.

Any questions for the first 7800 Jackpot.

What was happend with the 7800?
The Balance after hitting the Jackpot during bonus time was 7800?
But you can only cashout 1000 because of the bonus.
How many you must wagering to become the rest of the 7800?
I dont understand it.

e.g for me.
Hit a jackpot with 2400 during bunus time. Only Cashout 600. But the balance is 2400 and i must wagering 20x deposit like 10 EUR.
So i can after hitting the Jackpot during bonus time wagering the rest of the wagering amount.
Or not?

Please tell me what should i do when i hit a jackpot during Bonustime.
Better Cashout or play with the Big Balance?

The reason I was only allowed to cash out $1000.00 was because of the T&Cs of the bonus. It allowed only a 10x max cashout of the amount of my deposit. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever hit a Random Jackpot. The first time I do I can't have it. It still galls me to this day. Yes I know I should be happy with $1000.00. That isn't chickenfeed but it is a RJ!!!!!! No max cashout should apply to that type of win! It just isn't right! Yes I had read the T&Cs and knew it wasn't mine when I won it.

Bonuses are a thing of the past for me at the RTGs unless I ask the manager specifically if I win a RJ on a bonus what is their rule. For one iNetBet would have let me have the full RJ.

Live and learn. :eek2:

Weirdest thing ever just happened. As I was posting my comment above the phone rang and it was the casino where I had won that large random jackpot. The gentleman introduced himself and proceeded to tell me they were going to be having much larger deposit bonuses.

Well I told him I wouldn't play with a bonus in their casino since the restrictions are such I couldn't cash out the largest win I ever had. He told me he would look into it further and talk with the casino owner to get me if not all of the RJ I won but at least several thousand.

I called the casino back to be sure this was legit and it is. I spoke to the gentleman again and he gave me $200.00 to play with tonight. Just checked my account and it is in there.

Quite honestly I don't know what to make of this. I guess the old adage "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" might come into play here.

Perhaps, it is my Fung Shei? I bought a book on Fung Shei a while back and read to put something green by your front door. This invites money into your home. So I have three beanie babies, frogs, that live by my front door.

I have yesterday payout a little by Inetbet.
Today i redeemed a nrw Coupon for the real series slots.
50 Percent, Wagering 20x.
Deposit $10, - Bonus 5, Balance 15, to wager 300 now

What do you think with which RTG beginning and have luck or a long time fun with small wins?

question.....please answer for me :)

I was wondering

Can you win the random with small bets or do you have to bet the $10 spin (like you have to wager the max on progressive in B&M's)?

thank you

I won a $1250 RJ a few weeks ago on $1 bet. There have been others reported for various bet sizes down to 20 cents. I'm pretty sure it is random, but you might get more chances with a larger bet size (the bet size correlation was unclear when explained by the RTG reps).

I am curious if the games all have the same odds to hit the jackpot.

The only strategy I know of (besides Feng Shui of course) is to just do lots and lots of spins. And if that doesn't work, then do a lot more.

You don't have to bet $10. Discussion is ongoing about the effect of the bet size in another topic. The question is: Does betting more per spin increase the chance of hitting or not.

I won a ~$11000 RJ on a $1.25 spin (in fact only $4000 because of the max cashout restriction).

Question please

What is your opinion please.......

As stated before PlayUnited Cleo is up to 15,298 for RJ
however the diamond dozen for $7K just hit
There are 2 other RJ's up to $5K

what are the chances of a $15K hitting the same day a $7K hit? I was thinking of giving Cleo a break and trying the lower ones

what do you think, you think they would let 2 RJ's worth $22K hit in one day?

Can you give an update if you end up getting the rest of your RJ?

I always wondered about this scenario, thinking RJs should be immune from max cashouts...and if you end up getting your full RJ, it might put heat on other casinos to do the same, and look great for yours, for stepping up!

hit any RJs since?

sure- they will. The jackpots dont have a memory.
some two years ago i hit two one one night (3k and 7 k).
Good luck!:)

I've been trying a bit here and there with Inetbet and CherryRed.

Tried another $90 tonight w/ bonus and get this.. betting about 50cents spin.. my biggest win was $5 on 6 different video slots. Took me all of 15mins to lose the whole thing.

Was hoping for an RJ hail mary towards the end, but no such luck.

I've tried about $10k this year at 6 or 7 different casinos (Rival, RTG, 3dice, MG)... man it sure is getting tougher and tougher to even hit a bonus round.

In 2007 and 2008, I remember nights where I would put in $100 and hit dozens and dozens of bonus rounds. One time I recall hitting 13 bonus rounds in less than 100 spins. Nothing like that since. I agree with some of the posts here things have changed.. and this thread seems pretty inactive the last few years. You thought it was bad then... I wonder if most of you are even still playing these days -- if so where?

Well, here is my lifetime history of RJs and their bet sizes and size of jackpot and where I hit them.

Prince of Sherwood 2009 $2/ $5428 Cherry Red
T-Rex 2009 $1.25/ $4879 Casino Titan
Sunken Treasure 2009 $1/ $10500 Cherry Red
Diamond Dozen 2009 $1.20/ $20,500 Cherry Red
Mystic Dragon 2009 $6.25/ $10,600 Cherry Red
Mystic Dragon 2009 .75c/ $5800 Casino Titan

Those are round numbers, not exact. I had played for years and never hit, then all within 6 months in 2009. I can't play anywhere I won without getting my butt kicked anymore, so I stopped trying.

You can hit this one with small bets. In fact it was a 10 dollar deposit.

Skiny, can you remember how long you were playing that slot for before it hit? and also where you on manual or autoplay? Cheers :)

Actually It's kind of funny. I used to use Instadebit which was way too easy to deposit. I could drop 10 or 20 bucks in seconds anytime I wanted.

I was sitting around waiting for my brother to go out on a Sunday afternoon so I dumped 10 bucks into Sun Palace. Lost the ten bucks in about 5 or 10 minutes. I called out to him. "Are you ready yet?" He said no.

I sat for a few minutes and said screw it. I'll play another 10 while I wait. I only spun for a couple of minutes on this game (Manually) and hit this.

Then he called out. "I'll only be a minute."

I yelled back. "Take your time."

I hit a RJ at Aladdins Gold..It was a 1.00 bet and I didn't have a clue what I had hit..It was my first deposit playing anywhere on line..I was playing Realm of Riches and hit 5,800.00!!! Of course since then I have become obsessed with gambling and have lost a lot , lot more than I have won...good luck to everyone...

I sent Inetbet a question as to whether or not bet size has "any effect on odds of hitting an RJ"... here's the reply:

<<This has been answered on C/M by 'dogboy' who is one of the games programmers and as he states there is no difference with the bet size, your chances are still the same with any denomination, be it 10 cents or 10
dollars.>>

Interesting terminology by Inetbet, assuming you know what C/M is.........
I thought dogboy was an affiliate manager. Had no idea he is a programmer. No wonder he doesn't want to post here lately. :eek2:

That's not what he said here:

...RTG random jackpots, however, are not range-based jackpots.

They are truly random, in that there is simply a chance of 1 in (n) of triggering the jackpot, checked at the end of a given paid game (i.e.: It does not check for a trigger at the end of each game during a free game series, but rather at the end of all events that have triggered from the original bet).

The chance is proportionately modified according to the size of the player's bet, so a player betting $10, for instance, will have 10 times the chance of triggering the random jackpot in comparison to a player betting $1, and 1000 times the chance of triggering versus a player betting 1c.

random jackpot

I was only betting .20 at Viking slot when I won $9000 + It had a playthrough but I still cleared over $7500 . Haven't won since on that slot.

The elusive Random Jackpot

I was only betting .20 at Viking slot when I won $9000 + It had a playthrough but I still cleared over $7500 . Haven't won since on that slot.

The question I have is, why does it seem that the games turn to ZERO return on spins for quite a while before disgorging the jackpot?

I know it may just "seem" like that, but there have been a lot of times that I have given up playing a game because all I was getting were actual zeros and had to quit because I ran out of money, only to find the next morning that someone else had won the jackpot.

Case in point the Ronin game on Inetbet was recently over $13000. While playing the game it went to near total zero returns, no wild Ronins and no feature triggering Koku in the middle, so I had to give up due to lack of funds. Next morning the jackpot was $1000.40.

This really has happened enough times to me that I am getting skeptical.

I know there is no real answer, but I do wonder.

Ok my wording was poor -- what he said was denomination does NOT matter... meaning it doesn't matter if you bet 10lines x 10cents or 1 line x $1.
The odds are done based on total wager. I've wont 6 Randoms in the last 2 years.... 4 during AUTOPLAY I think.... and most of the time I wasn't playing all the lines. I think the lowest I won on was $1.50 and highest $5. I have gotten my balance to $3000 or $4000 and "chased" a Random on $5 and $10 bets non stop for hours and hours and never got it.

Those who say NOT to play for it are correct -- dont chase it. If it goes off it goes off. I once hit one the day I opened an account. I'm currently in the SEVERAL MILLIONS of spins range now WITHOUT a Random -- per my affiliate as he tracks my spins. I think the last one I hit was $3800 and I played it all on Triple Toucan on $5 bets and not only did I not get the Random, I lost the entire $3800 without a single bonus round until I hit when I had a balance of about $50. Won $200 and soon lost that, too, if memory serves. RTG can have some sick losing streaks. But then so can 3dice. Just gotta be lucky to get the RJ and hope u dont hit on a MAX BET coupon -- which I rarely use anymore. GOOD LUCK!

It's possible that the RTG jackpot contribution is either configurable by operators or has been changed at some point. This would explain why some people seem to be under the impression that the odds of hitting the jackpot are around one jackpot per $1,000,000 in wagers, but by my own estimate it's closer to 1 jackpot per $3,000,000 in wagers.

As far as I can tell, RTG jackpots are just about never worth chasing because your odds of hitting them are horrible for a jackpot that's generally in the 4-figure range.

The RTG software guy "Dogboy001" once stated that it's about 1 in $300,000 worth of bets = 10 times more likely that you say.
(It's in a post somewhere on the forum from several years back - it anyone wants to go searching!)_

Hi KK -- hope you are well. I'd be super-shocked to learn its 1 in $300,000 wagers. I've spent 10hours without stopping many weekends on the same 1 or 2 games at $2 to $5 bets... occassionally jumping to $10+ on some spins and not hit. In fact, I'm now in the $2millions wagered on the same 3 games (Triple Toucan, Diamond Dozen and Wizards) without hitting in in many months. I would guess probably 300 to 400 deposits since my last Random. While I have hit 5 of them, they pretty much all but 1 came in the same weekend about a year ago.

I think most likely it has to be 1 in $million(s) wagered but the bigger question is: are all games with a Random Jackpot at all RTGs using the same RNG method/odds? Or could 1 game be 1 in $100,000 while another at another casino is 1 in $10,000,000 --- notice some RTG RJs are as high as $50,000 USD while other casinos never seem to get over $10,000.

Going off memory, I accidentally made the mistake of multiplying both the figures by 3 in my original post, forgetting that the original was already multiplied by 3.

I intended to say more along the lines that the one jackpot per $300,000 was claimed, but that the current reality is closer to $1 per million.

I couldn't find the specific post you were referring to, but it doesn't look like it was made within the last several years. The closest and most recent that I saw, unless I missed something, was this from 2010:

"The total jackpot RTP is around 1.3% for the single jackpot reel series games..." taken from this post:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...arned-can-be-controlled-in-the-backend.36435/

This would imply a rate of one jackpot per $350,000, give or take, and a jackpot contribution rate of at least 1%. But that quote was from four years ago, and I've found that the jackpot contribution rate is at most .5% (from spins at the CWC group). Maybe something changed, or maybe it was configurable from the start, I don't know, but the 300k number simply isn't accurate.

The rate of hitting the jackpot is
(average expected value - seed value)/(jackpot contribution),

so to get the true chance of hitting it you'd need to find out or estimate those numbers. From what I can tell, this means you're looking at a jackpot somewhere between every $600,000 to $1,200,000 depending on your estimates.

But if people would rather base their gambling on hearsay from a half a decade ago, they're free to make that choice.

There is no formula for hitting the random jackpots where a spin of 0.20 or 0.25 could land you one. I got a RJ and a minor Jackpot at these spin amounts respectively. Just be sure you remain in your comfort zone and spin for entertainment without thinking about it. If you have decided on the value of your spins choose a slot with a larger Jackpot since the chances of hitting them are more or less equal. You cant chase them even if you tried.

so reading all the latest post seems like its just totally random like 1 in 300,000 or more
i feel bad if someone has spent over 1 million chasing a bonus

It's $1M in wagers I am guessing, certainly not $1Million in deposits that the other poster is referring to.

My personal strategy is based on the fact that I like a lot of different games. So the way I decide which game to play on a given day is partially driven by size of RJ and what games recently have paid well for me. I don't "chase" the jackpot -- but jackpot size helps me decide which game to play. And if it happens, it happens. I have probably hit 10-12 RJ since I began playing online about 5 years ago. When that screen lights up and flashes the RJ it is so sweet!!

FWIW,

Diane
