Hi Karolina!

I do know that last name from somewhere..:D
Welcome to the forum, and happy to see a new active face for BGO here!

Loved the place, but as i am a Dutch resident, my account was closed suddenly, and i was a little disappointed in the lack of communication when that took place.

For future reference: now that the recent Gambling Laws have been voted through, i wonder how long before you take Dutch players again? Let me know, and as soon as that is, i will happily return..(do i need to make a new account if that happens?)

Also wondering if you will be re-adding those great Games from BGO's in-house software, like Jungle Trouble, Jurassic Island and such?

Anyway, welcome, and thanks in advance for any clarity on these Q's :)

Hey hey,

Thank you for the warm welcome and all the questions! :)

As regards to the Netherlands, its hard to forecast really, I am not in a position to answer this question. But rest assured when this happens, we will shout loud about it!

It's great to hear that you used to enjoy bgo proprietary games and Jungle Trouble was actually recently added back along with jekyll and hyde - both are back on the site, with more to come. so watch this space! :)

Cheers,
Karolina

Hey, and hurray to DOA lovers! :)

Well, as it stands there are no plans to remove DOA from the current game exclusions list. It's a business decision of bgo operations team. bgo are not the only ones who exclude DOA from wager contribution and we all may know why.. The game exclusions list is regularly reviewed and updated, some games may be dropped some added. As an affiliate manager i have no influence on that, so pardon me i cant give you much more detail on this aspect.
Nevertheless, you can still enjoy this slot with your solid cash.

Cheers!

It's simple, DOA is a high volatility game which is why this slot and some other similar with high volatility score are excluded
Hope this clarifies better.

But as i mentioned, i am here as an Affiliate manager to deliver player promotions.
So in case you have any further game specific queries and would like more details feel free to contact my colleague bgosam

Cheers,

Most of the time DOA is harmless and give players a slow painful bankroll death..
So I find it surprising most casino's do not like this slot at all actually..

I mean for every big winner there are for sure 1000 or more losers.. :)

I am not a bonus player anyway so most of the times I play this slot with my own cash. ^^

Spot on, lotusch.
However what you said actually highlights why most casinos decide to exclude this slot from the list of games allowed for wager.
I guess we all saw the videos of Nate playing DOA :)
Couldn't resist not to mention good old Nate :)

Some of the best luck i ever had... but its generally tough to hit a Wild Line. Been running a few months on real bad sessions - So the wheel turns both ways.

I would like to see you guys add the Reel Steal too :)

Not really an answer, more of a statement. I am aware DOA is a high-variance game, I just wanted to know why this particular game is excluded when using promos that your casino is offering.

I realize that many exclude this game, but many do not.....I'm going based on when you stated "and we may all know why" and wanted an insider's view on why casinos fear it so! We all know it can pay big on pennies, I just feel that many lowrollers (myself included) use this game to garner some playtime.

The moment it's excluded from any promo it becomes a deterrent rather than enticing. I know you don't speak on behalf of all things BGO- related but am curious as to why this game (in particular) can't be included. Bloodsuckers I can understand!

And if being advised that real cash can still be used, well, that's not much of a promo in my eyes, sorry!

"Acceleration-Challenged"

"Un-fast"

"Speed-Hater"..........

......are things I would never call you!
I am waiting for the day that Starburst ceases to be used by all casino's in their promo's and is banished to being a game that is used to get rid of those last pennies in a failed play through

Just to add to Karolina's comments, we take a business decision on certain games being excluded from bonus wagering and the reasons will vary from game to game.

With a very low spin cost and high potential returns on DOA, you often see players involved in bonus abuse heading straight to this game - and to protect ourselves, we have to make tough decisions and exclude this game.

Quite often the small minority of players have an impact on the majority unfortunately.

That statement makes things worse in my view instead of clearing the issue. Yet again no transparent answer and more corporate BLABLA.

per BGO:

- any player taking a bonus and heading for DOA is a bonus abuser
- business decision --> clear speech: "we do not have the balls and the money to risk somebody hitting a WL @ 4.50$"
- @ 0.09$ you're looking at a payout of a few hundred dollars, @ 4.50$ maybe 15-20K ....too much for BGO???

This is one casino i don't want to be a member of. :D

Not "any" player is suspicious, he only stated that "often" players would follow that pattern on bonuses. It certainly makes sense to exclude some high variance games, especially those with a decent RTP to protect themselves. The problem is not a 0.09 or 0.18 low roller hitting a wildline, it's the high(ish) rollers that hit those on decent stacks when playing with a (prewager) bonus.

However in order to achieve fair-play for player and casino you can amend the current bonus system with more nuanced rules. Royal Panda for instance sets the maximum bet for the most prominent excluded games like Bloodsuckers or Dead or Alive to €1.40 instead of €7. This way 90% of your (low-rolling) player base can still enjoy these games on bonuses.

I proposed the same in another thread. This is a compromise I'd gladly accept. This trend with excluding DoA is really annoying and I'm worried it will only be worse.
