Hey! I'm new to this site so I'm gonna introduce myself.

My name is Thomas from Stockholm, Sweden. I love all kind of advantage gambling such as progressive video poker, card counting and using casino rewards to my favour, though there is not much left of that offered on the internet. As living in Sweden where the government has got monopoly on all type of gambling it's really hard to find it here as well. I'm want to learn more about all kind of gambling though because the casino buisness is one of my top interests.

I'll probably mostly sneak around in the forums reading posts, and hopefully be able to contribute to some discussions.

As players got smarter, the offers got tighter. You have really missed the boat on this. The big problem for many was the loss of the US market, 80% to 90% of the player base when I started out in 2004. A large player base funds all these offers, so they were much larger. The most important thing to learn now is to read the terms of any offer, and REALLY read them, don't skip, don't assume. In addition, check the general terms as well as the offer terms, as sometimes there is a contradiction or something important left out of the offer terms, but crucial to playing the offer.

Sweden is one country that some casinos don't like because players there are too smart. They will accept players from Sweden, but ban them from the best offers, or make them wager more than others. Playtech casinos have the same attitude about players from the UK. It is important to check up on such restrictions and special terms.

Do NOT think it is OK playing in UK Pounds to get the most out of any offer. In many cases, you will find your winnings void for using a currency that is not your native currency (where offered), or a standard currency, such as the US Dollar or Euro.

Remember, to casinos, you are the enemy, the smart player who will beat them at their own game. They are likely to look hard for any breaches of the rules when you cash out yet another nice win from one of their offers. There is known to be some sharing of intelligence about "smart players" between otherwise independent operators, usually at the software level. There is certainty that Rival and Playtech do this at the software level. Rival have their notorious "central database", and the Grand Duke rep let slip that Playtech give them personal details of players that other Playtech brands have flagged as "bonus abusers", so that they can kick them out as soon as they register, or disable bonuses on their account.

Yea nowadays I get sick of reading all the T&C since I always find something negative. Before I could at least find some casinos where it was profitable taking the bonus. As it seems now it's not even worth it spending the time finding the few of them that are left. That's why I've stopped searching and instead sticking to the one and only net casino where I month after month can use the bonus. But I guess it wont take long before that is useless as well.
