Sorry to hear about the job, but hope you find a new one soon. (I dare say with your experience with betting & casinos you already know the risks (and I don't want to be the voice of doom), but with time on your hands & money in your account, let's hope the temptation to spend more than intended doesn't become an issue. Unfortunately many casinos have poor payment policies, but if you stick to the accredited ones here, I'm sure you'll be fine.
