Hey gang my problem is that i can access all casinos i have installed omn my pc but royal vegas has suddenly decided it does not like me.My prob is that when i log in it says that my internet connection has been lost or that either my login id or my password is wrong.Well after checking with their cs 3 times now and their responses have all been,"we have checked this account and have been able to login with no problems several times' so now i come here where people have a head on their shoulders for more then wearing a hat.What do you think is wrong,like i stated earlier i can access all other casinos of any software i choose only royal vegas giving me this problem

Well, starting with the easiest and working our way up

Are you sure your username and password are correct? Try resetting your password so that you are sure that your mind and their system are on the same page.

Petey, try logging into the flash version first to see if that works and if it does then maybe you just need to re-install the software version...

Yep- do a unistall and reinstall it, it sounds like a incorrect file path or something similar, this hapens a lot with all types of computer software and applications.

If you do that it should work, if not then we can move to the next step.

Petey, did you un-install the program from the "Control Panel" settings called "Add or Remove Programs" and did you restart the computer after you did that in order to refresh the registry ?

it wont make the computer work, it will solve all the other problems though.

Ok you have uninstalled but i bet you the folder still exsists in your "program Files".

Petey Pete Pete, can you please go to my computer> C drive> program files and search for the casino in question and remove that folder (delete).


This should fix the problems you are having, if not come back and let me know.

Try going to the registry, as well as deleting the folder in program files.

Here search for the keys "MGS" and "Microgaming". These will have the subkey "casinos", and then keys for each MG casino. delete the key "royalvegas" in both of these, and no others, as ALL MG casinos would then stop working.

Set a restore point BEFORE doing this registry action, but AFTER uninstalling and removing the folder from program files.

This should have removed ALL retained references to Royal Vegas.

The problem with this particular casino is that it was converted to auto-login when they changed to the new lobby, and this would prevent you from correcting a corruption in the login fields.

There is an alternative, less drastic, that might work after you get the first failed login message. Go to options, and uncheck "automatic login", and try again. Then overtype your account number and saved password. This might correct any corruption present in the registry for these fields, and is safer than the registry edit option.

I have had to go this far in the past with corrupted MG casinos, and the registry cleanup & folder delete DOES indeed work when all else seems to fail.

To be absolutely sure, switch off the PC after this, and get a clean boot before reinstalling Royal Vegas (I am not talking about footwear here).

If this is about MPV, these are now also available in Platinum Play, so you could still play the free one for the big event there if this remains unresolved.

Do you have any firewall installed on your PC?
I have had similar problem with my PC, and later it was figured out that there was a firewall installed on the server which has had provided me with I-net. If you connect to Internet using LAN and proxy-server - try to ask the admin of this LAN.

Ok this is getting very freaking annoying, i have done what rob,slotmonster and sameold have suggested and still keep getting the same denial so i guess my only recourse is to try what vinyl is suggesting, so how do i get to my registry?

Petey, before you start messing with that registry go into "C Drive" and look under "Program Files" for that casino folder and delete it from there and then restart your machine and try the download one more time ...

Here's some info that might help you remove the program and then reinstall, steps for uninstall and clean registry.

1. First use the uninstall shortcut for the program software you are trying to remove. "Royal Vegas uninstall"

2. uninstall the program from Add and remove programs.

Process: Press start - Press control panel - Press Add and remove programs - Find Royal Vegas file and delete file. If it is not there it is already gone from the control panel!

3. Check (C) - drive - See if Royal Vegas program file is still in the (c) - drive after uninstalling file.
“This can happen”

Process: Press start - Press my computer - Press (c) drive - Press programs and then find Royal Vegas file and delete file.

Two Notes:
a.) If the Royal Vegas file is not in the (c) - drive the uninstall worked and you will not find a file to be removed, why? It is already gone! But in some cases when uninstalling files “Especially some casinos like Microgaming” it will leave the file in the (c) - drive that is why you should do this process just to check! ”

b.) When pressing (c) drive if it gives you a warning still open the file this will not affect nothing it is just a precautionary message.


4. Clean Registry.

Process: Press start - Press run - “RUN BOX WILL OPEN” - Type, REGEDIT in the box and press OK - Registry editor page will open - Press F3 on your keyboard and “FIND BOX WILL OPEN” - First put a check mark in all three boxes on the left, Keys - Values - Data. Then type Royal Vegas in the “Find what box” and press “FIND NEXT“. The registry will start searching for the file. After search stops the keyword/ keywords files being searched will High Light, Click on file and delete the file.

Repeat this process several times removing and deleting files and it will remove the remnants left behind in your registry from the program file.

Important Note: You can use different keywords to find remnants of casino programs.

Example: The name of the casino, Royal Vegas or Microgaming or microgaming casino ect, and each search will find different remnants left behind for the software.

You can use this when referring to other casino software as well, hope this helps!

Very Important: If you are in doubt don’t take it out. Registry items make programs run properly on your computer. If you are not sure you can do this process get someone who can.

sorry rob for not getting back to you all sooner but i'm just really pissed over this whole subject,i have done the regular uninstall from my control panel and i have gone thru my c drive to erase all forms of royal vegas in there also,like i said earlier i can get in to the flash version but i hate playing in flash versions,except for doing the registry thing i don't know what else to do

and download this free program called "Advanced WindowsCare Personal 2.7.1",, it's a great program that I have been using for over a year now and it will scan your Registry and Fix invalid or incorrect registry entries and values...it certainly won't hurt anything to try it out and it also does several other cleanup actions also...

ok rob i'm finally free from work and got a little time, so i ran my vista registery cleaner and it found 85 errors so i had them all cleaned up,and i went thru my pc and removed all mention of royal vegas casino, so now should i reinstall or whats my next move gonna be???
