Hi everyone, i'm a newbie and i do not know if i am posting in the right section (apologies if i am).

My question is regarding Go Fish casino. I requested a withdrawal of £348.00 through Money Bookers. It was the first time i played at this casino. I got a faxback email, asking me for bank statement and a government issued ID including name DOB and Address, i have a passport and bank statement but it does not have my address on my passport. I tried asking live help on Gofish but they were very evasive in answering. So, can some=one tell me if a passport and a bank statement is enough to send?

They should accept a utility bill with your name and address along with the passport and bank statement. You should discuss with them to make sure.

Thank you but i have E-Billing, i have sent emails asking but no reply as yet. I do have a current bank statement and a passport. It's quite confusing for me as it says the government ID must show your name DOB and Address but a passport does not show an address?

Your passport should be fine - that's all I have ever used at loads of casinos.
They would probably accept your Drivers Licence instead, if you have one & it's a photo one.
(I still have the old no-photo type!)

If you do get stuck at all, drop me a PM and I will ask my contact at the casino to help out.

That's a BAD sign, as it means there is no-one there, rather than them being busy with other callers.

Passport is considered the "gold standard" for government issued ID, and of course does NOT contain "dynamic" information such as your address, as it lasts for 10 years at a stretch, and is expensive to produce, and a high risk document to send out, especially to the wrong address.

Any recognisable bill or statement showing the address should be OK. Even e-billing can work if there is also a PDF downloadable statement that looks EXACTLY as one sent through the post would. Download the PDF, and print of the first page, which is the name and address page of a postal statement. Scan the print as you would something sent through the post. There is no difference, since all the company does is print off the bill from a computer database onto standard A4 sheets, and post it.

A bank statement showing the actual deposit made to the casino is better than a generic one, as the casino can directly relate the statement to the deposit, and to the player who won from said deposit and requested a withdrawal.

If they are still in doubt, they may ask for a notarised copy, or a photo of you holding up your passport. If it goes this far, it means they have already suspected you of something, and are allowing you to provide additional evidence to prove their suspicions wrong.

Reputable casinos are not using such requests to wriggle out of paying, but there are those rogue casinos that WILL simply invent problems with documents as a means to justify non-payment of a win. It all depends on the reliability of this "Go Fish" casino, who owns it, and even what software it uses, as to whether they "play games" in order to wriggle out of paying.

Go Fish is a Rival casino FYI.

I was wondering this myself, i also sent two emails asking about the documentation and i have not had a reply. Looking around this forum GoFish are a part of Rival Casino group. Thanks for your reply.

Its not unusual for finance teams to not be available on weekends (even though they ought to be since its a 24/7 operation) but for general support to AWOL is a huge red flag.

Mind you, most rival casinos are pretty ordinary these days so I can't say I'm surprised.

Let's hope KK can get you some help....but the point is he shouldn't need to.

I sent a PM to KK for you, also when you post you shouldn't leave things like account numbers or your full name or email address because all these posts end up on Google - unless you're not afraid of identity theft or hackers & spam! :) I've reported your post so one of the mods can remove your email address.

Try sending your e-mail to: Support@Gofishcasino.com
And also copy it to: Finance@gofishcasino.com

If that doesn't go through, please let me know by posting or PM.

Re PM: You should be able to just click on my name above and then click "Private Message".
Maybe this option is blocked until you make a certain number of posts?

Thanks for the PM Chayton!
