Hi, I am Alex and I am glad to be here. I am not only gamble but also create sites related to the industry. I am here because I would like to know about fresh news in the niche. Also, I want to improve my knowledge about online casinos (I have experience only with several qualitative casinos and I would be glad to find more). See ya!

Hello to Russia. It's a beautiful language. I can speak a tiny bit (badly) and can sing a song or two (very badly). I decided to learn (badly) after hearing the numbers spoken in an East European casino, and falling in love with the number 16. Sounds odd I know, but if you ever hear a Russian girl say "shistnatsat" you'll know what I mean.

Welcome to the forum :D

Now this will seem like a stupid question maybe, but are you using two keyboards?
The letters in Russia and English are a bit different. How do you know what you write?:)

Because he's Russian, and he's writing in Russian script.

Don't sweat it. AlexTu was just saying thank you to Kiwiguy.

здес всё харошо.

(I think that's right.)

Sorry, but I didn't ask you, and that was not the explanation I was looking for.

What were you asking, and what was the explanation you were looking for?

Android keyboards allow you to set various languages with a tap of the space bar. You can either use that function or go for an online keyboard. He knows what he's writing because Russian is his native language but he also speaks English. And FWIW, Cyrillic script is completely different to Latin. Some letters look similar, but most don't relate to their apparent English counterparts.

Alex's main keyboard is almost certainly in Cyrillic, so to write in Latin script he'd have to use one of the above options.

When it comes to fitting two different different alphabet system on same physical keyboard, the most important thing is how many alphabets those systems have. There are 26 basic latin alphabets, many languages add few on those, Finnish and Swedish have 29 alphabets, German has 30, etc. Russian language has 33 alphabets, which is pretty close to those numbers, so fitting them on same keyboard really isn't that challenging.

Even doing Google image search for русская клавиатура (russian keyboard, at least according to google translator) doesn't show any images of physical keyboards with Cyrillic only. Seems that pretty much all physical keyboards catering to Russian markets have both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, so I would assume that his keyboard also has Cyrillic and Latin alphabets.

It really doesn't matter whether the alphabets relate. I'll save my question about Chinese to some other introduction thread :D

I've never seen a dual-script physical keyboard like in the image. Smartphone-type Android keyboards have much more versatility, but as far as I'm aware they're no use with a PC keyboard and monitor setup. I'm sure this dual-function affair is extremely popular, since almost all non-English speakers have to speak English these days.

No, I use 1 keyboard=)) the secret is that it has both: Russian and English letters.

There you were...thanks

One time I had an English keyboard and that's almost the same as a Swedish, but it was still hard.
I would get confused but I guess that's just like we change the language in our minds we learn to do the same on the keyboards too.
