Hello Everyone,

I love to gamble, but found this page because I was looking up Betfair and CR casinos.

I joined Betfair, put in 200 bucks, but the software doesn't work on my computer. They suggest I redownload it. I have twice and it still doesn't work. What should I do? I asked them to refund my money, since I can't use their software. I also just discovered that they are ROGUE. My fault for not checking sooner. I thought you had recommended them, and they were bought by 32 Red...but guess I read wrong.

Anyway, again, love to gamble and will continue, but hopefully with no more Rogue casinos. Maybe you have some suggestions?

Thanks!!

Robin

Hello to you and welcome to the forum :D

Betfair`s market value is far too high for 32red, but it would be great if Betfair learned something from 32red about about how to treat their customers.

Anyway, there are a lot of usefull info here. And please join the discussions

I had a very poor reply to a question from german customer service and complained about that . One day later somebody called me and apologised for the bad treatment . I got 20 € real money as excuse :)

I think they are safe to play .

@Robin

Welcome to the forum as you can see i am from germany too :)

How rogue are they btw? they refused to pay a customer who won big or something, if my memory serves me right..

This is just a refund of a deposit so they'll probably just pay it back in the end right? If I were you I'd just send an email every day till you get your money back. Try some other mail addresses, find a pitboss address for instance. Explain to them you tried many times and don't wish to continue trying..

Anyhow, welcome, and I hope you get to enjoy yourself next time!

Hi Hollygolightly!

What an EXCELLENT name inspired by an excellent film, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Ohhhhhh if 1/4 of the children of the world had the compassion, talent, and grace, that Audrey Hepburn did then "What a wonderful world it would be!:)"

Welcome from another newbie at least on this site--certainly not new at the tables. In fact--I looked in the mirror earlier. I'm getting down right OLD and looking the part.

No, they refused to pay 1,000's of customers who won on a promo they did, even though all the customers stuck to Betfair's rules! :what:
There were even cases reported of Betfair taking players funds BACK from their bank account after they had paid out!
It was the most scandalous player abuse I have ever read about.
I struggle to believe that loads of people still play there, and unscrupulous affiliate still promote them

If you have a couple of hours to spare, you can read the details in this thread:

Thanks, well I never promoted them, or played there. But their name kinda makes me think of those pyramid style stockbroker fraud funds. Like brilliant investment or whatever. If they try to state something in their brand name it's usually the opposite. And taking funds out of a player account after paying out winnings... wtf, speechless..
Can't a player like Robin now do something like this, get his funds back through support for the deposit method he used? Cause he didn't use the funds at all..

I think 4 hours to read it all the pace of this old man

:o

I read enough to see why they are on the top of eveyone's Dung List! On a completely unrelated topic . . .

Today is a day that gambling of any form is not to be a part of my lexicon.

My best friend and I will be on the 50 yard line of the field among 80,000 or so screaming tweens tonight in the world's largest indoor sports stadium(Cowboy's Stadium) tonight.

Why? Not to see the our boys blow another game thank goodness.

TS4.webp I'm not sure if I'll feel really old or really young--probably a bit of both but I can't wait!
