Hi CM members, I'm a real newbie when it comes to forums so please bare with me, I'm from the UK and looking for advice but first id like to read the forums as I'd hate to waste anyone's time asking questions that's already been answered many times before, I like having a small gamble every now and then and have had many successful payouts but I've also lost a lot. My main problem is greed, not so much these days but a couple of years ago I was really bad, one Friday night I'd deposited £50 and by 2am is won £4000 on Jack's or better and similar type games and yet I still never it the withdrawal button and by 7:30am it was all gone and this happened on more than one occasion my partner would go mad with me and yet I'd be telling myself I'd only lost £50 as that's what i deposited and until id actually withdrawn it, it was just figures on the screen. These days I gamble very rarely and withdraw as soon as I can.

Many thanks for reading my post and I look forward to talking to you all soon.

Thanks for the advice, and the main reason I've joined this forum is I need some advice regarding withdrawals and the length of time it should take but I don't want to mention the casino as I don't want to cause a stir, that's why I'm trying to read the forums first

Hi lamb, and welcome to the forum!

I have pretty much the same issue, although i hate to call myself greedy for it, i think more of it myself as the rush of winning, that makes me lose "control".

I have played back several 5K+ winnings in less then the time it would take to initiate a withdrawal and consecutive flush...

I only play in the Casinos i know will pay me as fast as possible, and if i read you right, this might be handy for you too:

There has been a discussion about how long it should take a Casino to process withdrawals, and most gamblers secretly agree it should be instant like the deposits are. This however is not and has not been the case in general.

Apart from rumours i heard about the once great Virgin casino, which apparently did pay out to merchants instantly, there are now but a few options which come close:

My personal favorites are 3Dice, RedBet, Guts and 32Red, and even though the latter dropped down in speed i still know i'll be paid as soon as, within 48 hours tops. The other 3 Casinos generally try to pay in under 2 hours but this is not advertised in all three.

3dice have paid me in under a minute... i requested it in live chat, and she said done while i was still typing some banter :)

Anyway, i assume you will get a lot of good info while reading the forums, and if your lucky, enough members will reply to this, or your future posts!

You can't really go wrong here in the forums, except when you are secretly a wannabe troll :d

Mentioning the casino wont cause a stir at all!
As you are in the UK there are quite a number of casinos who process cash-outs very quickly indeed - especially if you use a web-wallet like Neteller or Skrill.

BUT... a word of warning; these casinos also accept deposits VERY quickly too - so your main aim should be to learn to be more self-controled, because once you have the money back in your account you may be very tempted to re-deposit some of it again almost immediately.
In some ways it is actually BETTER for some players that cash-outs take a couple of days, because then they have a chance to "cool off" after the buzz of a decent cash-out and may be a bit more cautious about re-depositing.

The great news is, you have found the best gambling forum on the net, so enjoy and good luck!

Add a physical reminder when you play - a screen background of say £1000 in £20 notes spread over a table will remind you of what that balance REALLY means in real terms and not just a few digits in the corner of your slot......

Welcome to CM lamb.

One of the many useful pieces of advice I got here was to withdraw and leave some to play with when ahead. You can make multiple withdrawals in a session if you have met WR or played without a bonus.

so please bare with me

We've only just met and you want to get nekkid? :p You should fit right in!:D

Perhaps a good thing is to look at this picture, print it out and burn it
