New Slot Announcement hatrick of Yggdrasils......

Yggdrasil slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - and so are their casinos.
They look really great, although i stopped watching after 2nd bonus in 2nd game.

I liked the first one more obviously, as it can give up to 20 wilds. and it looks like it gives them quite often too.

Speaking of which, i dont think you got 20 wilds alltogether in your 12 free spins :p

You should have seen the last game - the most interesting by a long way but very complex.

I looked at them last night for my weekly newsletter with upcoming slots and opted to leave them all out. To understand that Baron Samedi slot will be challenge even to the most experienced players. Nitro is just making a few extra bucks for the Nitro Circus performers, was waiting for it after it was announced and I was not worth the wait.

I got the feeling Yggdrasil thinks that there has to be tons of stuff in a slot that makes litte sense to players. Especially their games with collectibles are rather sketchy regarding RG as it will entice players to deposit more to complete what they collected.

Rigdrasil really churning them out now. To be fair, they have a few good slots but most of them are exercises in futility and bankroll eaters. They are the Kings of Scratch Ticket slots.

Baron Samedi looks very interesting. Potential is there!

I'm sure I'll find a weekend where I can sit there on auto-play until I collect all the cards :p

My issue with accumulators is that players will NEVER achieve the stated TRTP.

The TRTP is calculated as if it were a single person playing 1 billion spins, not a million players playing 1000 spins and then leaving the slot with a substantial amount of the RTP still tied up in accumulators. And once you add more than 1 accumulator it's basically impossible to ever reach TRTP.

Simplified, this is the issue:
Imagine I propose a game where there's 4 empty jars, you bet $100 and I then put $97 into a random jar.
After a jar reaches $970 you get to keep the $970 from that jar!
But unless you miraculously reach $970 on each of the 4 jars on 4 consecutive plays you're never going to get to 97% RTP.

A single person playing this game for a billion spins would still get pretty close to 97% but most players will quickly realise this game sucks hard and leave, even if they did have a few thousand bucks left in the jars.

Baron Samedi is actually a good game to get into - I have had a few more hours on it and it certainly holds one's interest and you'll not get 2 free games rounds the same. Nitro Circus is dreadful and drove me (no pun etc.) to distraction after 15 minutes. Time Travel Kellogs is mediocre.

Baron Samedi also has 1000x for 5 scatters so there's that potential too and don't forget the high-strength cards can appear in the Voodoo respins, not just when you've accumulated them for the free games.

for all i know it could be the best slot released since 1971, but after playing their other "collectibles" slot, Wolf hunters or something like that, im not touching their slots again. Shame because some of their older slots are actually playable but most of their newer slots have some sorts of collectible feature and with each new release it only gets progressively worse.

First vikings slots was ok. 2nd was much worse. 3rd is a horror show. Whats next for yggdrasil, releasing Golden Fish tank 2, where you need to collect 28750x purple fishes to start a feature?

i know they probably figured out its a cool idea to release a slot where you need 10k - 20k spins to unlock the feature, which can actually pay f-all, but as odd as it sounds im not a huge fan of those slots.

Yes, you've got a point and indeed I did state in the video review that I'm cynical where I see 'cumulative' reward slots. It's clear that on VGB the game changes when Ragnarok is due, everybody almost to a man agreed on that in its thread a while back.

Woah that last one looks very interesting. A bit disappointed with Nitro as I had seen some promo for that and was a bit hyped but it just looks like BS coin wins to me.

Baron Samedi however looks hella interesting.

It makes you think; how much would people be willing to put up with for a novel mechanic and nice graphics? 92% rtp? 10 separate accumulators?

Also I don't really understand this game but could you not gather your cards on minimum stake and then increase once you (eventually) have a decent set?

Any accumulator features on Yggdrasil games are played at the average bet from the entire collection period, hence, you won't have an advantage for increasing the bet on the final stretch.

You are mistaken in your reasoning. Wolf Hunters and Go to Hell are impressive slots if they're on the recoil. I had a session in Wolf Hunters when I see 2 times x500 and x200 several times, though slayer only paid x30, I won after session 800 denominations. Vikings are also good if they pay, you can watch a bonus every 20 spins, as are chests every 10-20 spins. Accumulated the Vikings, too pay x100-x200. In another session you can even for 100 spins not to hit 2 scatters. Just don't play if they're eating. They will not return your balance, if we started to eat. But in General, Ygg has only one really cool slot machine (Cazino Zeppelin) Other slots often have a deep bottom

sorry i stopped reading there.

i just cant take wolf hunters slot mechanics seriously. its a slot that requires 15k spins on average, to get the bonus that can pay 10x. So no, its not impressive slot.

I love Cazino Zeppelin but last few weeks it wrecked my balance a few times in no time.
On Vera&John I hit 5 wilds in a payline on my very first bonus on this back in 2016!!! Think it hit for 1800x back then.
Since then I haven't won anything over 50x on this slot at this particular casino. Think it took back the 1800x and much more already.

And then they say slots have no memory eey. :D:D:D
