I noticed some Viaden games at a PT casino and decided to play them.
They bear no resemblance to the equivalent games at the actual Viaden casinos (Trada/Monaco Aces) other than they look the same, but they behave entirely differently.
'House of Scare' is a good example - the bonus round, which can be very lucrative in the casinos mentioned above, is truly appalling. When you choose a character to race, you are allocated a total which you will win if that character wins. In my case, I chose the ghost, and would have won the grand sum of $1 if it came first. The girl would have won the grand sum of $4 if I had chosen her. Truly insulting as my actual bet was $5.
'Jour de L'Armour' is another - in the FS rounds at the Viaden casinos, there are more wilds, so you can hit big. Not so with the PT casino - the number of FS has been increased to 5 (with 3 Cupids), but no more wilds, and as any winnings are only x1 bet, the results are again truly ghastly.
I love the original Viaden games, but this has left a nasty taste in my mouth, as I thought they were the 'genuine' article, but in fact they are nothing like it.
Viaden, can you please explain?
