Has online gaming really gone as bad as it seems??

Been away from online gaming for about 6 or 8 months.. and away from the forums also. What I notice now when I read the forums here and elsewhere is an increase in postings claiming no pays and cheating software. Nowhere have I read any posts from players having a good day and winning anything significant. No longer do I see any playtech casinos in the reputable casino list. What's been going on?? A year ago, it seemed like people were posting screenshots of nice wins and praising certain casinos for fair play and fast pays. Can't say that I'm seeing much of that as I read the recent posts. Have things really gone down and dirty that much in a year??

Well according to most of the regulars here..all casinos are cheats and thieves who mani pulate their software...nothing to do with them losing of course..oh yeah, and they all do voluntary work out of a sense of honour and fairplay to the players ..the same ones they willingly send to their financial gambling death ( of which they get 35% LOL)

Muahahahahahahaaa

That's the impression I get on some forums lately! ( not just this one) The black-jack players are all claiming that the software is rigged... and the slot players are all losing... and the occassional winner has problems getting paid.

Win or lose

i guess thats why its called gambling

But yes you can mess with the odds it just a matter of hitting a few buttons but if its a reputable casino i dont see that happening

when you post and say you win, people hate you, they jump on me so bad i dont want to tell know one i netted close to 27000 last month casino and sportbook. even when u prove it they slam you

For the billionth time, Bethug - no-one hates you when you win, at worst they're completely indifferent. They only dislike you for encouraging people to lose money by claiming the casinos can be beaten by a crude progressive betting system. :axeman: :)

Hey tim5ny,

And welcome back. As an observer and participant in this industry for the past six years plus, I can honestly say that no matter what - there will always be issues. Further, players will tend to voice their complaints much more often then voicing their kudos and hurrahs. But there are the occassional threads which champion the winners such as here https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/winner-screenshots.4193/
Believe it or not, people are winning, and people are really enjoying themselves.

There will always be the underbelly of the beast, and there will always be problematic and/or surprising issues. Take Playtech for instance; they would rather threaten me with legal action then answer several questions that I made public last spring. Anyone could have asked these questions, but I chose to do so. As a result, they made it clear that they reserve the right to not answer my questions - and I reserve the right not to endorse any operation that they are involved in. Thus their removal from the reputable section.

And there have been a number of positive developments concerning player issues; eCOGRA for one, RGT's Montana dispute process for another. So in short, we ain't goin' to hell in a hand-basket, at least not yet. The industry really isn't as bad as it seems.

Thanks for the replys. I guess Playtech is out for me. If they don't respect the Meister.. then who would I turn to if I were to have a problem? Bethug... I believe you when you say that you win.... not because of any system... but rather because the fact that I've read many of your posts.. and you seem to have a handle on knowing when to stop and cash in before greed takes over. That's a quality to be admired. Thanks for the warm welcome Meister! I haven't played very much online since 32red casino eliminated U.S. players. The customer support and ethics that they showed me as a player are something that I've not seen elsewhere yet. Not to mention that I had many lucky sessions playing their slots and VP. Ed Ware... who is the top dog at 32red, has time for the player. He's very approachable. By the way... I was going to post a screenshot a few weeks back.. but the file was too large. Could anyone tell me how thay change the format to something that takes up less space? Thanks guys! Please post your winning screenies. It's nice to see the positive side of gambling too.

I'm sorry you have to see a negative side once again, but I have to ask what is the Montana dispute process exactly? Since I have $1700 in disappeared Delano I'm very interested to learn more about Montana. I have already filled their form linked by casinomeister but don't know anything about them. Have I any hope to see my money again? If I get them someday, I'll make sure I post some positive news :)

No problem Dolphin! I hope you get your money too!

Thanks for this thread Meister! Old URL Those are some fine wins. Always nice to see.

I use a program called Hypersnap to take screenshots. You can try it free for 15 days. Just do a search in google and you will come up with download links.

You can have it running in background. Then hit ctrl+shift+f to take a screenshot. If you run your screenshots are too big. You can use it to resize them. Just goto scale under image and make width 600. it will auto scale to keep image ratio.

If the size of the file is too big make sure your saving as a jpeg. If there still to big you can make the image quality a little less. After you scale the image. Save as a jpeg and set image quality to about 70% or so that should still keep everything viewable.

On topic. So far I have tried out two casinos. Lucky Nugget and Gaming Club. Since I am new tried the deposit $50 get $200 bonus from them. At Lucky Nugget was wild ride with Thunderstruck. Was up too $1000 but that came down to about $300 before I had met the requirments. So I withrew $200 and it was in my account in two days. Lost the rest at slots and video poker. redeposited $50 but lost that quickly too.

The Gaming Club has been even better. Played several of there 9 reel slots. Seemed as though none wanted my money. Would lose some then hit a bonus and get it right back. Tally Ho has been fun. Hit some good bonus during there 4x bonus round. Thunderstruck is still my fave. My biggest win came from there as sen in my attachment. I love those Rams. Cashed out $500 out of $700 yesterday. Still awaiting results of that.

Today the $200 I had left grew when I hit 4 deuces! Still have around $500. I have been playing slots and Deuces Wild for hours. Going to see how my withdrawel goes before attemptimng to withdraw again. Going to leave $200 at least because I look at slots as entertainment. I kno win the long run will lose out but it is just too much fun =)

Gaming Club should be happy to have me win in there casino becuase I will be generating a lot of rake for there poker room which I joined yesterday also.

Maybe it is the casinos I have tried. Looking to try another one soon differn't then the Microgaming software. Just will do research before joining to reduce risk of a bad experience.

Has online gaming changed or is it me?

Hi,
Two years ago I had a great run of winnings with two different casinos, Lucky Nugget and believe it or not, Golden Palace. I quit playing for sometime online, although still play in Vegas when I can. Tried again recently and found it very different, as in can't hit a single thing. Don't have this problem in Vegas or the California Indian casinos, but online just isn't working for me. Anyone know what happened to Prepaid ATM? I know they had problems with their credit card processor for sometime, but it worked for me two days ago just fine until I tried to deposit funds in 10 different casinos, all of whom advertise they use Prepaidatm, all except they really don't. Sent an email to Prepaid and they immediately wrote back telling me they are used by several casinos and will email me a list, which of course they did not. Firepay seems to be the only deposit method that really works except they keep raising their fees. Feeling a little discouraged about the whole industry about now.

Prepaid ATM is still around, and 3 days ago, sent an email to ALL members stating that although certain sites may no longer accept them, Prepaid ATM is alive an well and an accepted method of deposit/withdrawal at over 1000 sites.

Also they now accept direct deposit for all or partial amount from people's payroll checks!!!

The email contained a # of Microgaming sites, as well as RTG and other vendors.

My cousin recently won $14,000 at Casino Tropez, a Playtech site. He was playing dueces wild, and kept doubling up again and again and again. After his very last double, he called my cell phone voice mail like 10 times asking me if this site really does pay. I told him chances were good he'd get every cent. And one week later, he really did get paid!!

Right after the big win, he played blackjack for small amounts of money.
Out of 217 hands of blackjack, he LOST 173, had 14 pushes, and won 30.
He used the Playtech strategy listed on the Wizard's site.

30 WINS out of ~200 hands?
Sounds like a takedown mode to me.
Seems to me like they're desperate to get thier money back.

Naturally I can't prove anything, but the whole episode is really suspicious. I have the bj logs and will be sending them to the Wizard to ask if he will anylize them.

Ouch! The chi squared value is about 90, the probability of deviating from the expected values by this much or more is about 1 in 50,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Tech@playtech.com has already responded twice and I am getting a response that my cousin's results were just caused by "ill luck". Also, they congratulated him for winning the 14,000 at least 6 times claiming that he is thousands of dollars ahead of the game, and that maybe if I start playing there myself, I too will have wins like his.

Let me see if I can get a qualified and independent 3rd party to anylize the bj logs.

I will be contacting Norm Wattenberger and Don Schlesinger to see if they will review the results at no cost to me, and comment publicly on the matter.

Wow, you go right to the top. I know Don mostly by reputation and I have corrsponded with Norm on a number of occasions. Great picks both of them. This will be interesting getting recognized blackjack authorities to comment on the logs.

I will be very interested to hear what they have to say.
