I have been learning how to play blackjack with real money at Blackjack Table.com This past Sunday, I ranked no. 19 with 26.00 left in my account. I thought I had got the hang of it and was ready to play with some serious money. I log back on Monday, and the website count not be found, same on Tuesday all the way until today.

I know they were sending out promotions for $10.00 free for sign up. I received one promotion from them in all five of my email boxes. Could this have been a sign that something is wrong and that once people signed up and deposited, they would fly the internet with the deposits?????? : :(

Since I could not pull the site up I did a goggle search and this is what I found:

I could not make out much of the language, but I did understand the word "ADVANTAGEPLAYER.COM". Can anyone translate this? Also, this Casinoportalen.dk/Forum/thread - - I did go there and read (lol) some of the comments. What I understood being said was nothing that could have been good. :eek2:

If anyone knows what is going on with TheBlackjackPlayer.com. please advise.

Thanks,

Well, post above (quote) is from 17th July 2004.

And finally answer... umm little late ;)
Gambling Federation Crooks block this site

LOL, amazing isn't it?

That a software provider - a shit one but a provider nonetheless - could wilfully cause this kind of damage to the computers belonging to their own customers beggars belief.

Agreed. There's a thread over at WOL alleging that a webmaster's site is actually supportive of GFED in this matter - gpwa. That's hard to understand because this is so blatant, admitted and intentional.

Even Jeffrey Dahmer had supporters :D

You don't understand? I do:

Domain name: GAMBLING-FEDERATION-CASINOS.COM
Administrative Contact:
Cynthia Carley (slycin56@videopokerjunkie.com)

Ms. Carley, by the way, is one of the founding members of the GPWA - (for those of you not in the know) - and a feverish Casinomeister hater.

But I believe the GPWA's take on this is different than most of the players. They probably feel that GFed was doing them (the players) a favor by blocking out the URLs of the "evil ones" (which come to think of it they were in a way). I believe they feel that GFed went about it the wrong way, but all is forgiven since GFed fessed up and made the correction.

I'm wondering if the GPWA would be feeling different if the blocked sites were Ad Riches, or Fortune Lounge, or whatever site the GPWA feels is decent and worthy to promote. I think they may be letting some things fog their logic. But I don't know, and I really don't care. It's their business; not mine.

And this is not a slam on C. Carley or the GPWA by the way. (I know she's probably reading this - don't get yer panties tied in a knot). There are plenty of GPWAers here; I'm sure if they feel like talking about this they can.

Yes - I've read the thread at GPWA. Extremely dissapointed with the view of many of the webmasters, but then these are obviously the affiliates who couldn't give a shit about the players just the lure of the $$$ (actually one of these affiliates had managed to infect my comp with adware/spyware before I was aware of spybot etc so I suppose they can't really disagree when a software provider does so as well).

I'll certainly make sure I'll keep away from their sites when signing up to a casino.

I think the behavior of GFED is likely criminal. This cannot be legal.

I would be madder than hell if someone invaded my computer.

I hope the cavalier attitude of some webmasters won't lead people to think all affiliates are the same.

I would offer to remove them from my site but I did so a long time ago because no one seemed to win there.

I'm afraid this may well be the exact same reason many affiliates are sticking by them.

G-Fed Problem??

:D :D :D

This original post was written over 6 months ago. Does anyone know if G-fed malware was in this same time frame? Could this problem have come from them?? Since I wrote this, I have gotten a new computer and can load the Blackjack table just fine. But I also haven't downloaded any G-Fed casino software either. And never will again. I used to play at some of their casinos about two years ago but stopped playing because I NEVER won anything. Seems like that is more of the norm at these casinos. :p

:what: :what: i'm confused...

a random google search turned up this:

Cynthia Carley, founder of the Gambling Portal Web ...

Cynthia Carley, founder of the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association and webmistress of Video Poker Junkie amongst many other various popular online gambling related websites, has been an outspoken critic of scumware via the Scumware Battle Forum for many moons now.

Cynthias latest anti scumware drive is a call to everyone, gambling affiliates, all other internet webmasters and surfers alike and goes as follows ♠ ♠ ♠ (reproduced with permission)

♠ On April 19, 2004, the Federal Trade Commission will host a one-day public workshop to explore the issues associated with the distribution and effects of software that aids in gathering information about a person or organization without their knowledge and which may send such information to another entity without the consumer's consent, or asserts control over a computer without the consumer's knowledge. ♠

If you care about your revenues as affiliates and about the safety of Internet, go to the FTC Spyware Workshop and file your complaints. The Federal Trade Commission is waiting for them.

UNQUOTE:

Ok, I understand everyone's concern about the Scumware and spyware but shouldn't there also be the same concern about the adding of G-fed MALWARE to comsumer's computers? :what: :what: Somewhere in the above quote, there is a conflict of interest if malware by a company is not treated the same as scumware. Please don't tell me it is all about the $$Dollars$$ because it is more important for one group to support a cause because it affects their income rather than supporting an issue for all because the practice of an indiviual company is wrong for ALL consumers.
