I'm for legalising it, I don't smoke myself but I think the situation is a bit like prohibition.
It causes too much harm making it illegal.

I think there is a discussion within a discussion and that's: will legalisation increase the number of children using pot?
I think it would slightly, but I still think the benefits of legalisation would outweigh that.

Totally agree, if there is anything history has proven it is that prohibition doesn't work. However that seems to be a hard lesson to grasp for some.

I don't partake myself though am pro, as I drink which has far worse overall consequences.
Our newly elected PM made legalization a strong election platform and Canada will likely soon soon be adding a new leaf (in principle) to the flag.
