GVC - Coral and Galacasino showing the wrong RTP to players, possible breach of license

And even worse to have it hidden at the bottom of a hidden help file, when the in game splash screen at the start states you can win over 100000 x stake, and the help file further up the page states max win is 1,000,000 coins. Lets see if @Adam_LadbrokesCoral or the other GVC staff member on here (who I said I wouldn't name) would like to comment on this issue?

Do you know if ladbrokes are the same? I have a little funds in there, if that's the case I'll ensure I don't play there at all.

I don't have an account there, but would imagine so, they are GVC files, so probably the same across the board.
I checked to see DOA2 but only through my mobile, I couldn't find that 10k limit anywhere. I'm going to check via desktop, if that's the case I'm out. They've just "updated the site" it's still bloody awful, but I use it for football bets, will see what novibet have to offer in terms of football instead. Still can't get over this, it's absolute criminal.

its a nightmare to find the help files on mobile, I'll have a look on coral in a minute see if i can find them, should be the same on ladbrokes

The same rules are in the helpfiles at Gala Casino, on all their games that I've checked. Although they don't have DOA2

The maximum win from a single game is £250,000 or 10,000xBet - whichever is reached first (or currency equivalent. Other Operator limits may apply).

Last modification date: 2/18/2020

And if the last modification to the helpfile, was back in February, then this isn't anything new. It's been there for 3 months at the very least.

Ladbrokes DOA2 help file

"The maximum total win in a game round is capped at 1000000 coins multiplied by the bet level. "

is that the same as 10,000 x?

the help file is contained in those three horizontal lines in the bottom left of the screen, next to the ladbrokes name.

edit: on another point, ladbrokes have revamped their site since I last went on in february, I don't like it much, can't see any improvement. before they had a 'games' and 'slots' page, if I wanted to play netent or PNG [pre the rtp snipping] I would just head to the 'games' section. Now as far as I can tell it's all jumbled up, and the easiest way to find a game is to type the name into search rather than browse as I would before. If you click the 'all slots' category you have the fun of scrolling down the screen while 1453 game icons gradually appear, what's so hard about offering an option to separate according the slot maker, wms, netent etc..??

So they are making the max win on this roughly 9% of the potential max according to the help file. Why are Netent letting them get away with this, and if someone hits the max potential win do ladbrokes then get to keep 91% of that win? If thats the case then its pure robbery.

If I hit max cap on the bonus at 9p, instead of winning 9k, max I could win would be £900. That shit is not on, how on earth are they getting away with that!

This must be a blatant breach of licensing .

Can anyone at GVC confirm that any wins are capped at 10000x stake before the UKGC get a ton of emails in the next couple of days ?

What's the betting that once this is investigated we get a 'Sorry, this is an error on our part, it has been amended accordingly'

If this goes in favour of the consumer, how many people will need to be retrospectively paid out?

I just don't understand why some casinos risk things like this. Is short term profit really better than a long term viable business? Things like this could ultimately see them go under...I just don't get the logic.

So if correct and the remaining winnings go to the casino they are basically creating a completely new revenue stream from max/mega wins.

One way or another this group seem intent in ripping customers off.

Even if they remove the cap; this and the rtp reduction show their intent and the methods they are willing to use getting there.

Not somewhere trusted to play for me.

Yep, and theyu also added quotas on the affiliate side recently, which i know isn't taken into account now on here, but goes to show their whole attitude is to deceive.

Thanks for spotting this.

Were going to have to get you a detectives badge and trench coat :)

At least we can look out for each other if the UKGC wont protect us from this kind of stuff,

Things like this makes me a bit paranoid.
Time to check all sites before playing doa2 i guess. :(

Would not have been happy if my doa2 hit was capped at 10 000x stake.
Its such a bs rule, and imo the 250k max is also bad.
If they cap winnings at 250k, they shouldnt be allowed to have betsizes able to produce anything more than that.

Another UKGC licensed casino which is non-compliant with the regulations is PokerStars.
They display their games in such a way that the helpfiles aren't even accessible.
So your guess is as good as mine as to what RTP PnG (and all the other provider's slots) are running at.
