Guts blocked my account & holding my withdraw

Haven't heard anything from Ben or Tony...?

I thought this was going to be sorted right away actaully...

Dear Quickspin,

Just to confirm, Ukash are still doing some checks and also trying to looking into the reseller. I'm hoping they will get back to me today regarding this case.

Kind regards,
Tony

You should only buy Ukash vouchers online from verified Ukash resellers -
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

In any case, many casinos have a requirement that the Ukash is purchased from a merchant in your country of origin.

I only buy vouchers like Ukash or Paysafe card at a local merchant.
I do not trust buying these online as there are a lot of fraudulent websites that give you either wrong codes, stolen codes or anything other shady.
Don't use them a lot, mostly only when funds on Skrill are low as they can be convenient to top up your account at most casino's.

But maybe buy them at a local retailer m8,too much rubbish on the world wide web. :)

I am sure Guts will get this sorted as they are a top notch casino.

I have used Ukash for years now and have encountered one or two problems over this time frame.

Unless things have changed this past couple of months, I am 99% confident they only have a 'skeleton' staff set up at weekends which accounts for the delay.

Basically out of Guts hands/control until Ukash respond.

Good things come to those who wait!

UKash themselves created this problem by not having their own official online UKash service. This was fertile ground for resellers to pop up to serve demand, and it seems quite a few scammers spotted an opportunity to exploit weaknesses in UKash's own systems that would allow voucher codes to be sold more than once, and even WORK more than once at merchants because there was a delay between a code being accepted by a merchant, and it's validity being confirmed by UKash with the merchant receiving payment.

All these issues may be why UKash is being retired in favour of Paysafecard.

It is the weekend. Even if they work 24/7, the powers that be at UKash may not.

Dont' discount the possibility that you bought from a merchant that ripped you off.

Given that there were other players affected, probably not.

I don't know everything, but I do feel that I know that Ben and Guts are as honest as they come.

I know it seems like forever, but it really is not. Some other casinos you could be waiting on a cashout longer than this.

Hang in there.

^

This.

Guts is amazing and a Casino I myself can say I Totally Trust, when I play there and hit withdrawl.

Your issue will be resolved, what kind of resolving that is to be, is Only the Casino/Ben will know and inform you.

As others have said, its hard to wait on a withdrawl, and especially when an account is blocked. If all is good, they will sort it out, for sure.

Just try and be a little patient, which I know is hard to do in times like this!

Shoulod i starting to feak out now? Guts have not sorted any or done anything with my case, it's almost one week soon :(:what:

What can take so long to fix my case? Please Ben if you are reading this, please not let this tread die and im in oblivion...

Hi Quickspin,

We have had correspondence with Ukash and just waiting for their final confirmation regarding this case, I am hoping to have it later today or tomorrow the latest, and we will then get back to you with the full report and conclusion.

Kind regards,
Tony

Your absolute right, I hate using 3rd party's & still waiting on payment from skrill since Sunday

I am pretty sure if it was only Guts that was involved it would of been long sorted, These payment company's earn good money yet go on silly

In all fairness and as a 'back up' to my earlier post, Ukash have been known to seriously 'drag their feet' from time to time.

Hello Tony, you told me "tomorrow the latest" and it was 2 days ago...

He was hoping that Ukash would send their final confirmation by that time, but if Ukash hasn't done that, there is little the casino can do.

Just got message from Tony that they will not prosess my withdraw or refund my deposit becaouse my UKASH that i bought was in NOK and not EURO.

This is absolutly BS as i sitting with either scammed merchant or fishy casino. either way i dont know what to do as i have not getting any reply from the merchant of the ukash seller either.

Is there any place i can complaint to? LGA? or any other forum that might help me with this misery? :(

Forgive my cynicism but are all the facts in your post please?

I'm more than confident Guts would pull out all the stops to resolve in your favour if the case was as simple as an incorrect voucher currency.

There are probably the most trusted online site around at the moment and certainly not fishy!

IMO this is the best forum around and I also think that you will find you will get a very similar response if you start to 'shop around'

All the best!

From where did you buy those Ukash vouchers?

Are they on this Authorised Ukash online/web Resellers list?

Could you please explain how you didn't realise you had 10x the value of your purchase to play with?

Sorry but I'm 100% with Guts on this. I'm choosing my words very carefully but if I was Guts I'd surely be contemplating referring this to the authorities for their investigation.

Hi Quickwin,

I understand that our decision might come as a disappointment to you and I did not want to present the case here in public since it can still be a sensitive subject on your side. You are more than welcome to file a PAB here if you wish to take it further, and we will then present all the material to Brian and Max that was sent to you also.

Kindest regards,
Tony

well you can count the fishy casino part out, you need to look at the merchant.

From my stance there needs to be two parties failing to make a screw up like this. On one side you should have known the value of what you deposit. 1 Eur is almost 9 NOK now. On the other hand Guts have had quite a few technical screw ups with their site/games so far. That being said, they do always try to make it right in the end.

To me it seems like they believe you abused this glitch in their system. May i ask if you normally play with these ammounts?(Several thousands Euro on a day/weekend)?

Seems like Guts have nothing to hide which does not surprise me. And with the "invite" to PAB I would say the casinos case is rock solid.

Something not been right here from the start ... maybe just over sight on the players part but I would notice if my balance showed more 0000s ....

And nothing fishy at all from the casinos side.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand this situation as follows:

So you deposit 1000 NOK and receive 1000 EUR :) Good deal first of all!

Lets say you do 20x 1000 NOK deposits would give you 20,000 EUR which you might have lost 15,000 EUR of, then tried to cash out 5,000 EUR which was left on the account. However, the casino was only paid 20,000 NOK ( 2,000 EUR ).
This is of course a major fuck up from the casinos side, but of course they can't pay you if this is the case?

I'm sure they are protected in their Terms for technical faults. So no complaint to the MGA or doing a PAB would help.

But to mention this with another situation in "real life"; If I withdrew 1000 NOK from an ATM in Norway and got 1000 EUR instead. I'm sure I would get convicted by a court if I didnt give the funds back to the bank. Just saying...

I do think you are wrong :)

The OP claims to have purchased EUR Ukash vouchers from a reseller.
I think he may have proved this by showing his bank statements to Guts.

It seems he was scammed by the reseller, and that the vouchers were indeed NOK currency.

It's still not clear if the reseller is part of the official distribution network of Ukash.

It's a very strange case. There would be no need to go through an online vendor if the OP wanted NOK vouchers.
These are widely available in Norway and they are sold at face value (I'm guessing you pay a hefty fee when purchasing online...)
