going for my record run on this site, will report if I can do a smooth cashout, cant imagine why there would be any problems but I will let ya'll know. Hit $11,000 on a DOA spin, trying to run it up more now.

$10,000 winnings being denied

very sour experience, unfortunately. I had requested a cashout of 5000 euro while continuing to play. They told me all winnings will be confiscated, I will not be allowed to play, and I will get my deposit back. I was aghast. There is no reason whatsoever for this to happen! I am a US expat and have not been to the US in many years and have no ties there, but apparently because I was born in America this is reason enough; although not stated anywhere in their terms they are claiming US citizens are not allowed to play. No reputable sites allow players from the US, but all reputable sites allow US citizens in non-restricted territories to play. They said the second reason was because I did not set "USA" as my profile location, which would be completely nonsensical to do, as I am not in the US and would not play from the US. I have never had any issues with any of the many casinos I have played on before now, hopefully this will be resolved. I will reply on how this goes, hopefully just a misunderstanding.

cant for the life of me see a casino that would deny winnings for being a US citizen - only if you reside in the USA. And if this was the case well I hope they make it clear in the terms and conditions.
Are you sure this is the reason stated ? and not that your IP address was coming from a country that they dont allow ?

I played last year here and admit I loved it and had a smooth time, but then they blocked allot of games for UK players so had to stop playing here. So long as your playing and residing in a country that they do allow , where you were born or what passport you have should hold no problem at all.

I couldn't fathom being denied winnings for being a US citizen, either, and my thoughts exactly. I do not reside in the US, and no, it is not in the terms. It says they do not allow players from the US, Spain, or its States, that is all. I am playing in and residing in a country they allow, and they are still confiscating my funds. Also for NOT setting my location profile to a country I do not reside in.

I hope you are doing fine. After you have submitted us your documents, we found out that you are US citizen. I would like you to consider the situation as it is. According to our terms, that you have accepted upon registration, US citizens are not allowed to wager real money with us. Secondly, US is not in the list of countries that you can choose in your players profile. Verification of documents have been requested due to p.4.3.4 of our Terms and Conditions. Since you have uploaded the ID of US citizen, we can`t provide you with casino services. Your initial deposit will be refunded back to you.

However, I understand that the situation might be unpleasent. What I can do for you, is to cover this inconvenience with the compensation. Let me know how if you would consider it appropriate

That does surprise me - but if its in the terms no matter if you agree with them or not there is little you can do. Surprised at this .... I know plenty of people living here and elsewhere in Europe who originate outside of the EU and they play without problem. But if its in the terms then your pretty much screwed unless they make an exception ...

the terms simply state

If you are a player from Spain, UK, US or any of its states, you won't be allowed to play real money wagering games including bitcoins.

this is very generic language, and it does not bring to my mind the idea that US citizens are forbidden (such as the email told me) from all play even if living abroad. Its unfortunate weasel room but also not an honest one to seize a large winning for.
they did say they would "offer compensation" whatever that means, I have no experience with getting sleighed and discussing what to take as a payoff/cut.

I agree, just about every casino I have ever played on says something along the lines of "Players from the USA are not allowed registration." This has NEVER meant "US citizens residing abroad" in my experience. Miscommunication to a new policy, or they don't want to play, I will know soon and report.

Just about all casino have the term about players from the certain country's are not allowed,

I nether knew they ment players that was born from them country's was not aloud to play, Only if there playing from the country's,

I have seen the rules been bent a few times and been twisted but this is on the next level,

But how would they of known your from the U.S? Surely you have ID from where your staying

I have always used my US passport along with local proof of residence, I did not think of the need to use my local ID. I realize now this was a mistake, but not one that should have mattered. I have played on lots of casinos as a US born person living abroad, and I have literally never had any problems whatsoever until I hit my biggest win and try to cash out from here. They seem to be wanting to offer some compensation, but I think its a very unfair way to deny payment, based on the phrase in their TOS saying 'players from the US are not allowed to play'. This should not == "US citizens, whether located in the US or internationally", in my opinion. This should mean "players who are located, connecting to our servers from the US, are not allowed to play". The lack of clarity/specificity in the TOS may be for the purpose of denying or paying at will.

quote of denial of payment (regardless of having submitted local proof of residency, playing from my home abroad):

According to our terms, that you have accepted upon registration, US citizens are not allowed to wager real money with us. Secondly, US is not in the list of countries that you can choose in your players profile. Verification of documents have been requested due to p.4.3.4 of our Terms and Conditions. TOS used for denying payment:

If you are a player from Spain, UK, US or any of its states, you won't be allowed to play real money wagering games including bitcoins.

I do not believe this is a clear indication of what they have implied, most online casinos do not allow players to register or connect to their servers from the US or restricted territories. However, this has never before been an issue. This does not state anything about citizens of the country living abroad, a persons nationality, or playing location. The denial of payment quotation was implying that the TOS clearly states "US citizens cannot wager." however, it only states "If you are a player from Spain, Uk, or US".

"she began to walk away from him"
2.
indicating the point in time at which a particular process, event, or activity starts.

a person taking part in a game, where the action is starting in Spain, UK, or US, is not allowed to play for real money.

I am not playing from the US, these TOS are at least unclear and not solid enough for denial. I should be paid and the terms re-written to clearly state US citizens, residing in their home territory or abroad, are under no circumstances allowed to wager real money on our site, if they truly wish to enforce such an frivolous policy.
