Grande Vegas Casino and Western Union payout

Hi....just had a pretty good win at Grand Vegas. Went to do a western union withdrawal for $1100 and it now says max you can withdraw is $600.:mad::mad: I don't have the option to withdraw to my bank because my bank does not have a swift code. So this means next week I can withdraw the rest of my winnings but have to pay the $65 fee again. This just pisses me off. I consider this Grande Vegas's loss. I can't play their while there is a withdrawal pending and I do play there quite frequently. I don't know why their policy changed but it had to be very recently. I play at the Jackpot Casino Group and Club World Casino Group but now rethinking my options.

Hi

Could you let me know if courier checks are drawn from US or Canada bank.

I'm not the OP but due to stringent banking regulations (UIGEA) the check will probably be Canadian, not to be cashed, but deposited (and pray). Some banks can not handle 'foreign' checks at all. Some banks take so long to process that a processor can shut down before the check totally clears (I got one back marked 'closed account' almost 2 months after depositing.)

It costs so much to deposit and withdraw that I haven't even played any since Xmas holidays, and rarely before then. Just not worth the hassle and expense.

AGREE 1000% Mousey!!

Maybe someday the planets will realign and UIGEA will just have been a nightmare. :eek2:

I know uptown aces has a similar situation, to where they can only cash out up to $600 via Western Union. Yet they are now offering Money Gram payment options for up to the $2,000.
The only downfall to Money Gram, is the fact granted that Wal-Mart cashes checks, sometimes despite them being a check cashing store. Sort of, they don't always carry large amounts of cash to take large Money Gram pay outs. Otherwise lots of other Money Gram locations tend to be mom and pop stores. To where you know obviously they don't have a few hundred laying around pay out a $700 or more Money Gram.
I seriously thought about taking a check, considering I bank at a large bank and yet to have an issue with a Canadian check, considering the fee is way less. Yet as I've read I'd hate to check a check, then have my bank fiddle around with it for a few weeks before sending it onto Canada. Then have it bounce.

Ditto..........worth every penny too!

Inside Walmart, there is a bank, the Wood Forest Bank that cashes out money grams/western union. I have hit most already in my area. (I Change up after every withdrawal). Walmarts and banks on every corner! Then i shop!

I'm done

After reading this post about Grande Vegas lowering the withdraw limits I checked out Intertops Casino for Western Union withdraws.

It appears that Intertops has stopped Western Union withdraws all together. Since I am in the U.S. and my bank won't take international checks, even on a Canadian bank.
My options for deposit and withdraw have dwindled to a level I find unacceptable.
With that said I am done with online gaming and will just settle for my twice a year trip to land based casino.

I just wonder how many other USA players are getting frustrated to the point where they are thinking of stopping?

More than you'd think. It's too expensive, complicated, and downright irritating to deposit and cash out - for some of us, at least. I haven't played since the winter holidays, and very little before that for the last few years.

While some may not have stopped playing completely, they have greatly cut down. Of course, the lucky few that live in a state where online gambling is legalized are on a completely different playing field.
