I don't! It's a piece of shit!

If I wanted to add up how much I'd wagered in 6 hrs of play:-
MG: 10-15 minutes of copy & pasting into Excel - then add it up.
Crypto: One 10 second copy & paste into Excel & add it up

Mind you, I have to admit it's better then Playtech - almost nothing, and RTG - actually nothing! :eek2:

Moahahaha! Please KK, be straight with me. :D

I would agree (why and how could I disagree...) with you that the Crypto is the best. I guess I when I gave my thumbs up for PlayCheck, I was pretty much comparing it to what PlayTech uses (and what RTG doesn't use). While I'm not too crazy about that delay, I still think PlayCheck is pretty good considering how far back you can go to check your sessions. But for the record, yes, Crypto is tops in this category.

I'm just glad you read my post. ;)

Taking a look at the poll, and where it sits now, I'm still puzzled as to why Cryptologic is trailing MG as much as it is. :what: I thought (when making this thread) that there would be a few surprises from this forum, the main one being that (I guessed) a healthy portion of you would think that Crypto is the best. So far, I must say I'm surprised. Of course it's easy to see why MG would likely go 1st, but I never thought it would be this far of a gap between 1st and 2nd.

One reason I would think is that the majority of people (at least those who regularly post on here) aren't very keen on bonuses. Crypto's regular bonus (read: Intercasino and Will Hill) are one of their biggest highlights in my humble opinion, along with their quick and easy banking system. :)

A slightly different take...

I can't comment on their slots, but Microgaming's single-hand video poker has to be one of the worst games I've ever seen. (Ok, the Atari 2600 has worse graphics... but only barely.) Where did they get those "cards"? Yeech! Square cards?!

RTG's multi-hand video poker isn't that great, but their single-hand game is very nice. At least the cards really look like playing cards, there aren't 1500 mostly-useless buttons on the screen (the infrequently-used controls are hidden behind a menu), the cards aren't the size of elephants (square-shaped elephants, even!), and their interface doesn't look like it was designed by a manic-depressive Windows UI designer on holiday from Bellevue. I'd even rate RTG's multi-hand game graphically better than Microgaming's single-hand game.

To be brutally honest, Microgaming's overall interface is stinkaroo awful, so bad that I can't bear using it. I'd expect simplicity from an online casino, because there just isn't that much that needs doing. And I'm far from a "stupid user"... yet I had a lot of problems even figuring out how to deposit money!

I was going to blame the most obvious look-and-feel issues on the fact that I use a large laptop display and their software insists on running in full-screen mode, but that's only a part of it. It's just an overall chunky, clunky design, at least the video poker portion--but I wasn't happy with their blackjack games either.

In terms of the software I don't have any complaints with RTG. It's simple, cleanly designed, attractive graphics, and easy to use; exactly what I expect from an online casino. It doesn't have a lot of features, but that's OK with me.

It's a shame, because I know 32Red is rated very highly around here. I certainly have nothing against them, but there's no way I'd want to spend time playing video poker with their software.

just a note:
You can switch between full screen-window view from the menu-options. On laptops with various untypical screen resolutions, this may mean a big difference in view-feeling of games. Try it.

One has to remember that the single-hand video poker was one of the first games they developed many years ago - it's not much different than going into a Vegas casino and seeing their 30-year-old single-hand video poker machines.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind a new look either.

Perhaps the MG graphics for their single-line VP are greater than the Atari 5200 (released in 1982)...

... we'll say then that they're probably still better than the "Atari 2600 Jr.", released (again with the "junior" name) in 1986.

But, maybe, just maybe, they're on par with the "Atari 7800", released in 1986. ;)

I'll say this, the RTG video poker (single-hand) is definitely sharp, and looks like most "VLT" machines. Whereas the MG video poker is more BIG (as you said), but not necessarily better in detail (like DUPLO LEGO compared to the LEGO TECHNIC). I just think (for myself) that after playing more than an hour or so of the RTG version of VP, my eyes feel completely shot.

Old Attachment (Invalid)

RTG SH VP = "TECHNIC"
MG VP = "DUPLO"

All jokes aside, I appreciate the feedback "42ndSSD". :)
