these 30 day promotions are a joke,
day one: 0.75 worth of free spins,
days 2-30 various pointless offers (deposits required in most cases), wager 100 on xx game to enter a draw, triple loyalty points on obscure game xx.
occasional "freerolls" and every freeroll on fortune lounge comes with 30-50 rebuyers and addon users, and stupid win box amounts to the point where a normal freeroll player would have to hit 5 wilds on every spin for 5 mins straight to even come close to. Just look at some of their tourneys first 2 pages full of rebuyers and addons, EVERY time.

You need deep pockets to get a decent prize, but if you do, and have the time, these tournaments can be very rewarding as very few go all the way. The recent problem is that they have cut the top prize to less than the cost of all continues in some cases, and in others you have to come first every week in order to win overall. This makes them unappealing to those with deep pockets, but also unappealing to others because the facilty to make loads of continues still exists.

The only tournament that seems worth a look is the Accumulator, where all the prizes grow as more rebuys are made. This means that the players with deep pockets also drive up the lower prizes along with the ones they are gunning for.

These 30 day calendars are crap, I don't bother with them anymore.
