Got a surprise yesterday...

There I was, happily ironing and kids called me into lounge after they got back from going out with the missus.

I got a rather big (or cute little) surprise! They didn't mention a thing beforehand.

Meet Ace and Nova.....

Awwee lucky you! They are sweet! I was told when I moved in with my son that I was allowed to get a cat. It has been years, so I have been happily looking for the right one. Enjoy!

Their favourite stunt is the dining room, where there's 8 chairs pushed under a long table, so they climb up on a chair and hop between them chasing each other.
No accidents yet, they used the litter tray every time so far although one is rather flatulent.

The naming was an ordeal - the missus wanted Himmler and Goebbels, I wanted Donuts and Bonanza but the kids already decided. I just gotta pay for them lol...

cute, the grey is a ringer for mine
cats really do make a house a home :)
I've been looking for a brown and orange calico. We had one, she was so pretty and girly girl looking. Her name was Shylo. She would walk the kids every morning to the corner, wait for them to cross the busy road for school and then go home....every day! She became Kayla's cat, and would bring her dead birds and plop them on her bed, as much as I tried stopping her, she was sneaky and quick! Also liked to decapitate chipmunks and hide them in the water spout to play with them later. And talkative? Omg..Hahahaha, worse then me :D Sadly after Kayla moved out into a pet free zone, shylo turned for the worse. Peeing every where, defiant. After 8 years we had to re home her :( The shelter took her first to work on her behaviour.
