Hi,

Does anyone from here play at the Golden Galaxy casino ? Recently this casino stopped to work in the real money mode. I am not very enthusiastic to play again but I have a 2k pending balance and I am a little bit worried.

Can anyone try to open a new real money account or to log in with the existing one to see if is a general problem ? GoldenGalaxy.webp

Try contacting live support on their homepage or send them an email. Could be the casino is experience technical issues. If you still have the same problem tomorrow I would worry then.

Live chat is off as well the other forms of communication.

It doesn't work. So if casino doesn't work and live chat not on I would hazard a guess to say this casino may have folded and possibly your money with it. Again it could be technical issues so I guess it's a wait and see case. I know it is frustrating to have money that you can't get to. I remember that feeling well when Purple Lounge closed, I lost quite a bit that day.

I will never forget the Purple Lounge debacle. I lost almost 2 grand. Makes me careful to this day, if I see slow pays start I run for the hills.

In your situation I would say that this casino has done a runner judging on the fact that download casino isn't working and no cs staff for at least 4 days. I am sorry but if you see any money from them it will be a miracle. You could also try and call the numbers listed on the website. Anyway I hope this is not the worst case scenario but even if it isn't I would advise you stick to the accredited section in future. Both Omni and Fly are excellent Playtech powered casinos.

I 1,000,000% blame Playtech! It is ENTIRELY their fault.
The software supplier hold the Progressive funds - they should INSIST that the players get paid in one lump sum.
The only reason they don't, is because of the culture where they are based. (I won't say more on this, or I may sound like a racist, which I am not).

Maybe one of their players won a Progressive Jackpot and the casino pocketed the money and ran!
Wouldn't be the first time a Playtech casino stole a player's jackpot winnings... :(

This doesn´t look good @ all..

I never tried them as i knew from the start theres sth fishy about them, some months ago i was in contact with somebody from their team, they paid me back the money shufflemasterlive casino robbed some years back from me (you see their history :rolleyes:), it took some legwork but the goldengalaxy guys did repay this old debt.

The time i was dealing with liz i found her responsive and in the end we found a settlement. But I have to say it was not a big amount, they also encouraged me to play @ goldengalaxy but i never took thet invitation, their whole operation screamed, you will be burnt sooner or later.

Imo microgaming does this way better, if i see a casino that has a mg download client (bit old fashioned these days ;) ) i have trust, way more than in any playtechs i saw coming and going.

I did sent an email to the Elray gaming earlier but no reply yet. I will inform if I get something news.Also made complaint in Ask Gamblers site. I don't think it helps but I just have to try. So angry and frustrated now.
 
keep trying, it is important that people are warned if unethical business practise takes place, and you see in my case, sometimes even after years you get things sorted, but you have to do research and many people just give up.

some more interesting info about elray, golden galaxy and the whole business. never thought such a crappy looking casino ( opinion based on their shady website etc.^^) could make such turnover. offering crappy service along with a crappy website and rogue behaviour seems to be very profitable ;) (so sad)

I did even sent email to the CIGA. I quess it would be guite shocking if they would answered me but I am ready to do everything. I want people to be aware these roque and shitty casinos.

I sent an email to the Playtech also. No response to that yet. I read Ask Gambler site and there was one player contact which was posted thursday 14/5/15 and that player was able to play and even was in contact successfully with live chat (was new player). My real game mode does not work and customer support is not available. How can it be possible?

I don't know Hennah but it could be that player over at Ask Gambler's could be telling porkies. Live chat still doesn't work. It looks to me that they have either closed their doors or having major tech issues. I would put my money on the former rather than the latter.

If you can't get anywhere with Playtech or CIGA. The Gaming Control Board of Curacao has an email address [email protected] Nor sure if CIGA and GCB are the same but it may be worth a shot.

Looks like they done a runner, I know what I would do, & Believe me I not not rest untill I find the owner

They have a .co.uk address but it doesn't state anywhere on the site the location of their offices so I am thinking maybe they are based elsewhere? They certainly don't have a remote operating license as required by the UKGC. Are they still advertising on UK television? I was curious so I asked live support about their location and the following was the response:

When I asked about a license she said the lottery/raffle is run out of the US so no UK license. I would assume that if they advertise in the UK with an office in the UK then they would be bound by UK laws. Am I wrong in this assumption?

I have tried to call to the Elray gaming directly but there is only answering machine. All my efforts seems to be waste of time. Casino scam report just blacklisted this crappy casino. I am not aware about these issues so could you please tell me how long it takes when it will be officially publish that casino is broke and closed?

Just to mention - they were in the rogue pit for this, but they contacted me in January 2015 stating that they had removed the clause, so they were removed from the Playtech list of shame.

Currently they are listed in the no man's land of the "Reservation".
 
Is there anything new to tell about this issue? I have been tried to get answers by sending emails and called several phonecalls to everywhere I possibly can. Nothing. No response. I really hate this situation. Is there anything else to do?

Typical reply from Playtech, but worth investigating in case they are being economical with the truth, which might be the case if this casino was being operated by Paragon International Customer Care, a 100% owned subsidiary of Playtech.

A dead giveaway is the address to which "notarised documents" have to be sent ;) Or indeed any postal enquiries.

But like you said if anyone has to play them why not do it as safely as possible and use the sites you mentioned or the rest of the main british bookies, ladbrokes , William hill, coral who all operate playtech from their sports sites. Never understood why they do use playtech knowing its reputation but if anyone has to play it you know that these sites will at least pay you in a timely manner if you win.

Their website is open but I cannot login to my account and no response for emails, phonecalls or Livechat. Can anyone create an account there? Why their website is open if they are broke.

From my side I don't have any news. Things are very clear. Playtech don't care if I buy a casino platfrom from them and after that I use that platform in a fraudulent way.

Thank you for your prompt answer. Even I don't have a contract relation with Playtech, as a player I expect to be protected somehow. You tell me that you don't care if a casino use your platform in order to commit fraudulent activities?
I'm pretty sure that the relationship between Playtech and Erlay Resources is regulated in this sense.

As a form of respect for your players I expect to get involved in their issues with casinos which use your software.
I expect to hear news from you soon Ian.
