Here is my story:

In march 2008 I've opened an account with Golden Palace Casino.
I've deposited $200 with Moneybookers and released $200 Bonus by playing Black Jack and Caribbean Stud Poker.

When I wanted to cashout by Moneybookers they've told me that this is not possible.
But the following email from their support ( date 15/03/2008) confirmed that I've fullfilled all bonus requirements:

Dear Guillermo,

Thanks for contacting us.

In response to your inquiries,

1. Yes you have already met the wagering requirements which is your case was a total of $8000. At the moment the total amount you have wagered is $8,479.50 all in good games.

2. Unfortunately Moneybookers is just a deposit option, it has never been a withdrawal option before. There are some other easy and fastest ways to receive your winnings. For example, Neteller and Wire Transfer. For Neteller you will need to create an account with them and then make a minimum deposit for $20. After doing this you will be able to withdraw your funds through this way including the deposit required to register the Neteller account into the casino.

Ok. I've played some times after that, but didn't pay much attention to the account.

I had $400 in the account and could use it from time to time to play a little Black Jack.

Now in 11/ 2010 I saw that they offer now Moneybooker cashouts.

As I have also a Neteller account now I deposited $20 with that, played some hands and then requested a split cashout with Neteller and Moneybookers.

The answer of support by email after some days was:

That I didn't fullfill the bonus requirements.

I've answered that I've already fullfilled them in 2008 when I've openend the account.

Next answer was, that I've played games which are not counting towards bonus requirements.

Then I've explained them that in 2008 BlackJack was a valid game for bonuses and sent them the email confirmation above from 2008.

Then I got this email:

Hello, Guillermo.

It's Danilo again. I hope this e-mail finds you well.

You're right. You did complete the wagering requirements on allowed games back in 2008. However, as stated on clause number 23 of our Terms & Conditions (which you can find at the link
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
), if you don't log in to your casino account for 180 days or more, the casino can void any balance that remains in your account.

Since you didn't log in for over a year until you logged in again in November 2010, the casino holds the right to erase the balance you have in the account. Nevertheless, we are willing to let you withdraw your balance if you complete a wagering requirement. Instead of the $8,000 you had to bet, this new wagering requirement would be of only $4,000. This wagering requirement must bet completed solely on our currently allowed games (according to our Bonus Rules stated on the following casino link
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
). That is to say, no roulette, no table games and no card games are allowed before completing the wagering requirements.

Please, let us know your decision and keep in mind that if you don't log in for 180 days or more, any balance in your account will be forfeited to the Company.

Thanks for your comprehension,

Danilo

I've answered that I think that they want to steal my money and that I will publish the case now and make a claim at the Alderney gaming commission.

Why?

- I had confirmation that I've fullfilled the bonus requirements in 2008 by their support

- In 2008 these terms weren't published and I never got a not about the change of the terms (especially the 180 days rules)

- I never got a warning that I may forfeit my money because of the 180 days rule

- During the first emails they never mentioned such a rule

- There is no date recorded on the website when these terms where changed

- They offer me to release my money again with slots where it is clear that I will lose all my money so or so

- Of course I've made no notes when I've logged in to the casino. So they can say now that I didn't log in for 180 days without a proof.

- I'm getting punished now for not cashing out earlier

Summary:

What was once a honorable casino turned now into a rogue one. (Just read their terms)

I recommend everyone to cashout their money there, because as you see with my case they can anytime steal your money.

I ask the webmaster of casinomeister.com to list them in the rogue casino section to warn other players.

( I can provide all email conversation as proof)

Without customers they will soon have to close their cheating business.

Thx,

Guillermo

Guillermo

Once honourable???

Opening up the wayback machine to when GP was microgaming in the first years of online gaming- probably the original and then biggest No pay scandal that hit the online casino world. Generated endless heat- was instrumental in radically increasing the membership of some forums.

Still rogued at many places and a lot of long memories.

Hello, Guillermo.

As per Upper Management, the $4000 wagering offer remains available for you.

I'm afraid we can't send you any money if you don't wager at least what they're requesting.

Think about it. It's only half of the original requirement. Plus, you might be able to wager all of it and cash out your balance and (in the best of cases) you might even increase your balance. Who knows?

Please consider this solution. I believe it's the best option for both parts.

They don't even want to pay back my deposits.

Does someone had similar problems with them?

I don't personally have this sort of experience with Golden Palace, but I do know that some casinos to have these "time-out" rules.
If that term was indeed in place when you made your deposit back in 2008, then the offer they have made you seems more than fair & reasonable to me.
Unfortunately I can't check because WayBackMachine doesn't seem to be working for their site right now...
