GIG announced in Nov 2017 the creation of GiG Games to produce modern HTML5 casino games. HQ is in Marbella, of all places.

First slot was Wild Reels, released in Aug 2018. According to what i know they plan to release another few within this year. Haven't checked, hence they might have already more.

I have to admit, it's a pretty poor game, but hopefully there's good releases to come.

I was asked to review the game when it came out and I told the client to give it to a different writer as the review wouldn't be that "friendly"

I got the impression, they had a group of 6 - 10 year olds developing it. Simple layout, old-style symbols and low volatility. The wild reels on every spin don't help 9/10 to get a win, and if you are lucky to get two in the base game they do not connect 99/100.

I was spoken to very briefly about this but it never went any further. I haven't seen the game so I can't comment, but yes they planned to make in house games.
