Gaming giant NetEnt lets go of around 300 staff in Malta

Title taken from article (link below). Evolution bought Netent while ago, deal was finalized today and which was not great news for many of Netent live dealer staff. Evolution fired people in very first legal chance they had (same day deal was finalized) and now quite few people were shown door. Not big surprise that amount of needed staff is smaller when you merge two live game departments but how big and fast it happened was quite a surprise for many. If you ever thought to start live table game company, now would be easy time to hire:

Yes, really nice being a casino manager and getting complaints the NE live games dont work... you contact everybody you know at Net Ent and nobody answers.

Yeah, they didn't care much about NE live games and their customers, all casinos could stop offering Evolution games for month or something as a thank you for this... Dunno how that official information going to be handled as people in quite remarkable positions there had no idea this happen before today, which includes folks who should been informing casinos about this.

Unfortunately know some people who work there, if you're in Facebook, it seem to be discussed in expats malta group.

Makes sense, terrible to get sent home prior before the season and no clue whats going to happen to you. I wish them all the best, asap! Some were working in the department for 8 years and get sent home....

Yay Jan! Very good posts from you. This happened to me at this time of year and I lost everything and still paying for it really.

I have not even had a chance to start life really, if you have a partner, house,car and some family you are rich and be grateful and thankful.
