So apparently due to the deprecation of adobe flashplayer many games for US players no longer available including on Casinomax. How is it they did not plan for this in advance? Now we are being basically forced to play slots we dont like that just uggg. Ok thats my rant on it. But since half of their games are not playable anymore considering closing the account because the slots that are available are not all that. Rather be at a casino that has playable slots.

I was OUTRAGED when I discovered this by accident a couple of weeks back

Everyone in the world knew for YEARS that the end of Adobe Flash was coming in December 2020... so I was left confused.
But then I found out that Rival and RTG deliberately made a conscious decision to NOT convert most of their older games to HTML5.

So about 1/2 of all RTG and 3/4 of all Rival slots are gone - probably forever. (A few RTG ones should return - see bottom of my post).

I am FUMING because most of their new games are shite - and most of my regular favourites have been binned :axeman:
Rival now only have TWO iSlots left :(

Microgaming and Netent have killed off a lot of old (and not so old) games too.

@KasinoKing all those are still available on inetbet and other places, like I just walked into paydirt just now.

I still play crystal waters, hell pretty much all those rtg slots are still around and I play em daily

They're all still there , now I know bovada lost a lot of games but crystal waters and other rtgs are all still there

I miss the old slots. A few I loved were Avengers, Life Of Leisure, Monopoly on a roll (Only because it gave me a monster win) Bonus Bears and many more I cant even remember the name of lol

Cant remember, I know life of leisure was on William Hill a few years back.

Bonus Bears was on Vbet as recently as 2019, as for Monopoly on a roll, last played that in 2011 lol

Are you in the states tho? I've never heard of or seen these games anywhere In a casino easily obtainable for us players.

It would of been easier to just type, "All of the Rival games you remember, gone".

Yeah - I think most of the RTG games are still available to play on mobile devices. (Not the Rival games though AFAIK)

But us old farts still prefer the download client and the bigger screen of a laptop when spinning! :p
e.g. I see this when I select Hen House:

HenHoused.jpg

Some other games just say not available at all (i.e. they don't say they can be played on mobiles)
HOWEVER - I checked the 2 games you mentioned and they ARE still playable on download. Maybe that list was wrong, or old, or they just changed their minds...?

The Bovada group only have a handful of RTG games - and apparently they "bought them outright" many years ago, which means they are not necessarily the exact same games you'll get at other RTG casinos, and they could have done something to make sure they are still playable...?

Yeah it's weird that they did nothing for so many years. Maybe some of these old providers are a skeleton of their former selves? But they still have new games coming out.

Rival seemed to have a habit of quietly nerfing some of my favorite games without a word, so honestly the main games I miss from there at this point will probably be the progressive jackpot slots which I liked to take a shot at sometimes. It's kind of hard to trust a provider when your favorite games secretly become virtually unwinnable.

Two of my favorite were "i-slots" that had a skill based feature, cosmic quest 2: mystery planets and rock on. They were both fairly generous RTP slots because you lose a lot of that RTP back if you make a mistake in the feature mini game. All of a sudden sometime last year I simply stopped winning on those slots, particularly cosmic quest. Since it was a fairly high variance game, it took a while to be certain they nuked it, but I also noticed that the RTP which used to be listed at some providers was removed entirely from the help page. Similarly, rock on had some odd pay table changes, I think the top symbol was cut into half of its value but they randomly added a bigger possible feature win for 4 and 5 scatter triggers. I suspect they cut the wild frequency slightly in both of those games, and since the biggest wins in both games involved hitting expanding wilds on multiple reels, that took most of the big wins entirely off the pay table.

Well, now those games don't exist anymore and I wouldn't play them if they did, I wasted way too many busted game play sessions on them last year before coming to my senses.

Not sure if any games are missing but bovada seems to have converted most of their old RTG games, but they look a bit like cheap knockoffs of their former selves. If they were going through the effort of retooling the games, the least they could do is let us set the autoplayer for higher than 25 spins? It's a bit of a pain to reset now because you have to go to the menu, click spin settings, click like 5 more times to get it to 25 spins (maybe more since clicks don't register sometimes), exit the menu, then click spin every time the autospin completes. You used to be able to get the old versions to glitch so they would keep spinning as long as you wanted, don't think that's possible now though. But at least the games still exist. (Edit: did aztec's treasure used to have music in the free spins? Can't remember for sure but they might have lost some of the game specific sound/music as well. But not 100% sure on this. Edit 2: I guess the music might be there but it stops playing when you actually start spinning the feature? Weird. They also seem to have redone all the art except made it worse instead of just copying the assets over.)

Haha not sure but I think why from get go I was confused was I expected a ton of those rtg games to be gone but playing mostly at sloto and inetbet nothing had changed when flash was done so that's why when you had that list above I was like wait no lol but bovada definitely shedded a ton sadly q

Flash player is discontinued but you can still use it to play flash slots assuming you still have it installed.

Nice idea - but the casinos have removed all the discontinued games from their lobbies... :(

Actually they have NOT. Casinomax the games are STILL showing up in their lobbies. Thats why im beyond livid. They allowed players to keep putting money into them including the jackpot ones, knowing full well they would be discontinued....IMO....I read customer service a professional riot act and all i got was "we have no control over this" YES You do you can pull the games down OR have th companies covert them to something playable so yes they do have control because honestly this affects their bottom line. Again IMO

Yes - you are right.
Rival casinos HAVE removed all the un-playable games from their lobbies, but RTG casinos have not.

I think I need more understanding guys, I think what I'm not getting is if they're on the casino to be played then what is the overall issue? Like I've played some of the games on those lists and I won a little to cashout and I cashed out, what's the issue? There's something I'm apparently missing.

Shucks - I'm going to really miss Secret Garden - at least I saved the music in a digital recording. It's just a 5 second or so loop of a string melody but I loved that. And it was a happy slot, based off a classic feel-good story. Sad.

Taking down so many of the RTG classic slots is a big mistake IMO, because I primarily played the classic slots, along with a few of the new ones. It was the classic slots that made playing there so fun.

And Achilles? LOL, of course they are converting it - the RTP % is probably 85%. No thanks.

So the issue is, on laptops and PCs in RTG download casino clients (and probably in web browsers too), there are games shown which you CAN NOT play.
I don't know how many exactly, but I would guess about 1/4 of all their slots.
Try to play Hen House, Santastic or Hairway to Heaven and see how you get on...

In RIval casinos the games have simply been removed completely - probably around 3/4 of all their slots are gone.

Wonder what they are doing with the jackpots, if they are just taking the money or will roll it over somehow. This would be pretty easy for RTG casinos to do since they still have a lot of random jackpots running. I'm not sure if Rival even has any progressive jackpot games left though.

Ah ok so I went to get on my laptop and yea I see what Hen house is doing. Well at least tho it can be played on mobile it says, a nice big tablet screen. But I do a lot on tablets so it sorta falls in my wheel house. I mean I just feel at least they aren't totally gone.

But you'd think the providers would still want their money, is it that hard to convert them from flash?

I can still do a good portion of those rtg games on my laptop tho just to mention
