Announcement FREE BEER!!! YES YOU!! ALL FORUM MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!

IM still undecided - would love to come but my dad in for an heart op on the Monday so waiting to see how that goes first :what:

Would love to make it though even though will like fish out of his tank.

I think we would be the only 2 canadians there right? Honestly I couldn't go this year since I have two jobs and work way too much... impossible to take a week off....

Don't think so - Max is a Canuck.

And once the dates for next year's ICE are announced then we can figure out the dates for the Meister Meeting 2017. It's normally either the last Tuesday of January - or the first Tuesday in Feb.

Just a thought have you every considered doing a summer meet up as well ? Making it twice a year ? Or does that truly break with tradition ;)

Good question and I was going to suggest the same. I just wanted to wait until this meeting was over and done.

We are a few that will go to Amsterdam in June when the affiliate conferance is. My thought is to gather as many as possible from here, and have a little summer meeting. Will you come?

I would defo be up for it in Summer if it was arranged!

OK people, see you in a couple of days, off to Meistermeet now....:D:D

I did genuinely plan to attend this year, however personal issues have put my plans on hold :(
That's a shame - means I'll have to drink your beers as well as my own! :p
My train leaves in about an hour - time for a couple of hours in the casino before the Meister Meet!

Ended up being only about an hour in the casino AFTER the meet and the visit to a Chinese.

Won £200 playing Blackjack - so my train & hotel costs were all covered again, just like last year! :D

Nice to hear you managed to quit when ahead, despite the number of pints you downed in Waxy's:D

It was nearly midnight by the time I got back, and my feet were aching. Supper then bed it was for me, no gambling at the casinos I have upstairs.

Stuck In The Airport!!!! HELP:lolup:I got stuck here due to weather I am already suppose to be there. BUT! Already a few brew,s down the old gullet. Airport living is hard I can,t find a way out of here? Unless I charter a flight and I just don,t have the bread for that.A few more brew,s and I may not care? New laptop is giving my big finger,s grief and I will update this trial by fire. Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Thaks to everyone who made it out. It was another awesome meetup.
My laptop died so I am having issues uploading photos. I did so on the Casinomeister Facebook page. You can check them out over there. : D

<<<STOP PRESS>>>

I (we) are back.

I have to start with berating the lack of effort on this forum, and I don't mean those who live in Canada or overseas but in the UK. Just like last year, the poor crowd of casino people was lumbered with myself, Vinyl and KK. Last year though we had a couple of notable 'assisted passages' to London for a couple of members. ;)
Regretfully none of you made up the shortfall. Well, you missed some great fun, conviviality, eateries and socializing. You missed the pleasure of Bryan 'King of Beers' and Max and Conker too.

There will be photos following....

KK did win £200 at BJ, I watched him. Webczas was next to him and won £70 and the amazing thing was, that this they achieved from an 8-deck shoe that seemed to consist solely of 3's and a few 2's......:eek2:

There was Chinese and Indian consumed. Unfortunately I did admittedly have arse-trouble this morning and at one point thought I would have to miss my 14:00 transport back, as I started getting 'separation anxiety' from the toilet as my departure time loomed..:o:o:o:o

I won on slots and took 8 crisp £50's home as profit despite the curse of 'death-touch Simmo' next to me. He, ahemm... left me a nice little progressive on the slot he'd been battered on. Until he left I couldn't hit a thing bar a recovery to just over par on Power Stars. I just moaned the game into submission, and from then on it was happy days.:D

ICE at the Excel is absolutely huge, I made an 11-minute walk-around video before I got a bollocking. I played Endorphina's new 'Twerk' slot and took a vid which will give you a sneak preview. They ARE going to get licensed in the UK, hopefully by end of year. Spoke to the UKGC's solicitor ( I didn't realize who she was in their stand until I quoted some Vinyl stuff!) and apparently they ARE 'aware of the EM SE situation'. I visited most stands bar Playtech (on principle) and Netent (boredom). Michael Owen the (ex) footballer there, I walked in front of him and didn't even recognize him until I heard somebody mention him - he was in a kit on one of the stands.
Sneak preview of a promising-looking Play N Go due out in March and a little video.

PLEASE next year, get off your arses and COME!! You get a whole year's notice of the date, nobody will have trouble at work booking leave in the grim early days of February and above all if you can play slots you CAN afford 100 quid for a night in a hotel and a tenner for a coach! You eat and drink for free at the MM.

DO IT!!

You missed the pleasure of Bryan 'King of Beers' and Max and Conker too.

I was in Malta the day of the meet-up so I have an excuse :D

Did manage to visit ICE today for a couple of hours, played the new IGT Baywatch 3D slot and Game of Thrones. Did see a couple of sports celebs, names escapes me, but a snooker player and a darts player. Old, maybe retired???

Liked the MicroGaming presentations and had a drink in their bar. One of their guys recognised me from here and asked my opinion on their recent games. I used the word 'clone' several times which was met with laughter

Yep. Indeed MG's next release due March is being named 'Game Of Clones'.:)

I,am truly sorry I missed it. But the weather was not in my favor? Next year I will leave a couple of days early so that if the weather is out of hand I can perhaps recover? Again I,am sorry I missed it and I did look forward to meeting you all. I must say it sounds like fun and I have been to London before and if I get there a bit early I do know there is fun to be had there :D.I got so blasted at the airport they booked me in a Hilton for the night I was in bad shape the next morning today I should say. NEXT YEAR :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Docked by the Excel on the Thames, the bad ship Microgaming...

I watched for a few minutes in hope of seeing the periscope of HMS Conqueror glide up the river with torpedo tubes open, but alas no.....:(

Awesome video, Dunover. Hope you don't mind me using that for the newsletter. :D

And it was an awesome crowd this year - pictures have already been posted at the CM Facebook page. I should be including them as well when I finally crank out the London excursion newsletter. :D

No not at all, what's mine is yours blah blah...

Finally got my own ICE and London Report up. You can check it out here Link Removed (Old/Invalid)

I like the photo 'NO photography or filming' (Unless you're 6'5" and called dunover):D:D:D

I don't know the English name of the serie but if it's the same as here then it's The Adams family, and dunover reminds me of Lurk.
Seen that one dunover? :D

You mean 'Lurch'......

Yes, that's a common nickname in the UK for any tall strapping person, commonly used by the short-arse or those with a midget complex. I think it comes from their innate fear you may tread on them or see their dandruff when you look down on them.:)

Don't forget Karolina is taller than many of the guys there, so needs to have someone to talk to that she doesn't have to bend down to.

You're not that tall.
You just reminded me of him. Nothing else;)
