I'm gonna begin with a true story that happened 2 years ago..... I have many times driven to Canada by myself to spend the day gambling at Casino Niagara. It's in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side....300 miles away. Quite a tourist area, and I don't know anyone. One night when I was in Canada alone, I stepped outside of the casino to have a smoke. There were two guys nearby who were also having a cigarette, so I asked them if I could get a light from them. As the one guy was lighting my cigarette we had some small talk, but nothing significant. I don't use a Player's Card at the casinos, and I'd never pulled out my wallet for any reason since arriving that day. I had cash on me. After the one guy lit my smoke, the other guy came out with "You're Tim! Aren't you?" My brain went into shock as I focused my eyes on him. I'd never seen this guy before in my life. My reaction was simply "yeah!" .. because I was in shock. He saw my astonishment, as did his friend. Before I could ask another question they walked away into the parking lot..snickering with each other. I stared as they left because I couldn't make sense of the whole thing. The guy that spoke to me turned around and gave me a look that I'll never forget. He turned around with a smurk on his face that said."I just blew your mind!" That was the last I ever saw them guys......

Are you sure it wasnt that blue and white "Hello my name is Tim" on your coat?:D

I have a very wierd story that is true. It was the fall of 1986, a few months after my mom died. I was driving home in a bad rain storm, the kind you cant see. I said out loud "mom if you can hear me , please get me home safe" All of a sudden my car stereo got real real loud and I turned it down myself. I looked up and the rain stopped.

I pulled over at the 7-11, I was kind of befuddled and walked in to get cigarettes. I walked in kind of "dazy" and before I got to the counter the guy looked up and said "marlboro menthol lights right?" I never bought cigarettes in that store, ever. I said "how did you know" he said "i dont know" I paid for them and left.

doo do do do, doo do do do................... you are about to enter a world focused on ordinary folks who suddenly find themselves in extraordinary, usually supernatural, situations................look for the sign post up ahead..........watch out............it's the Twilight Zone!

ok about 6-7 years ago I used to wrk on a prawn trawler ( shrimp boat for all you americans) and I worked out at sea for 9months a year and coming into port once for 3 weeks at the middle of the season and then back out to sea again for another 4 months. At times we would be 3-4 days away from the nearest land, but one night about 4am in the morning in the middle of nowhere I was on watch in the wheel house while everyone else was a sleep and then suddenly static came over the CB radio and I was getting actual radio reception through the CB, it was crystal clear and I could hear everything. It was a talk back radio station and the topic was on the town I lived in :eek2: but thats not the freaky part, when the announcer took a call form the public it was someone I went to primary school with and he was actually talking about him and I going fishing and what we used to do in that town and towards the end of the call he said i havent seen or heard from Pete in years and am wondering what he is doing now...... I didnt feel right for weeks very freaky situation IMO.

I tried to get into contact about 3 months later when I got back to Darwin but didnt know where to start and still havent heard from him 6-7 years later

same old

you should of found out the name of the radio station and called it when you got back to land. They have the numbers of ppl that call most of the time. Its prolly too late now but you never know

Freaky stuff use to always happen between my Mom and I. She use to wake me up in the middle of the night calling me and not on the phone. Now mind you, Mom lived almost 200 miles away. However, when she called me in about 30 minutes I would get a real phone call that she was having another heart attack. Happen all the time up until she died.

But here's a more light hearted HMMM moment. I was standing in line at our local racetrack to make a bet. I was looking at the form trying to make up my mind when I heard this voice telling me to bet on a certain horse. I turned around and there stood this little guy, looked alot like one of Santa's elves, with a straw hat on. He said to bet on this certain horse and that was it, no other conversation. About that time the person in front of me made his bet and I walked up, made my bet and just in case put a few bucks on the horse the guy said. I turned around to thank him and he was gone. I mean like disappeared gone. I was there all day long and never saw him again. And yes, the horse won and paid big. Things that make you go Hmmm!!

I saw a UFO one night about 20 years ago...:D

I hadn't even been smokin any weed that night either...honest...;)

Sure............I believe you  :D

Well, ok, I've had a couple of zone moments as well................

When my dad died a few years ago, it was hard to cope and I was unusually tearful........er......I cried a lot! :D One afternoon as I was crying my eyes out I heard him say.........as distinctly as ever.............why are you crying? I stopped crying and have not cried about his death since.

Then back in my teen years (when it was cool to party) a friend and I went to Black's Beach to try some windowpane..............we found a cave a little ways down the beach and went in and partied.........well later, when it looked to be getting dark outside, we decided to leave.

When we left the cave we noticed for the first time that our way back to the car was gone! The high tide had covered up the way out and all there was to escape was a 15 foot wall of rock which we could not climb:eek2: You do not want to try this on acid.............

Suddenly there were four arms reaching out to us from the top of the rock. We were pulled up to safety and when we looked at the rest of the arms to thank whomever it was that saved our lives..............there was no one there!

I guess angels like stoners................:D

Oh great story Suze...I do remember those days...:cool:

Nobody knew me! There was no nametag on my shirt.............It's still a mystery to me. Being in another country, alone..and someone comes up to you and knows your name....

Mine's not that great but I'll share anyway.

8 or so years ago I took my b-friend to A/C for his b-day. My car was messed up but we kept driving! We ran out of money fast. He went upstairs and I told him I was going to play my last $5.00.

There were 3 Wheel of Gold machines and one was empty. I sat down and the machine wouldn't take my bill. I really wanted to play this game because it was so new. Suddenly a nice old black lady asked if I wanted her to watch the seat for me because there were so many people watching and waiting to play. I ran all over and finally found a cashier. I laughed when they gave me the little roll of quarters. I was sure someone had sat down at my seat but the lady was still there.

I played a few minutes and hit the jackpot for $1199! I looked around to thank her and she was gone.

I know it's not that weird but that's the first time I was down to my last $5.00 and won a jackpot. My ex was so happy when I called him to come down from the room. I had a nice gift for him!

I just wonder if that lady was a guardian angel perhaps.

You had been to that casino before... I'll bet you used your ID at least once in that casino before... That is all it takes.

The casino security (which I am sure those two guys worked for) is simply amazing these days, what with facial recognition software and player tracking the casino security guys knew your name and personal info as soon as you drove on their property or walked up the steps to the front door of the casino, as long as you had been their before and used your ID inside the casino... Did you ever rent a room in or around the casino? The casino tracks motel/hotel information as well and combines it with your player record so they have a 'complete' picture of the player...

If you think I am overly paranoid, spend a little time researching casino security. The casino security guys player tracking makes the CIA personal tracking look like a bunch of amateurs.

Not a freaky experience I guess, but a true story............

Had a few beers with my buddies and headed for home. I arrive and see my next door neighbor and we exchange hellos! He says that he's having a party in the backyard and people will be arriving soon. "Come on over for a beer!"..he says! I said sure, and went into the house to take a shower and a change of clothes. So I go in and take a shower..dry off, and begin to get dressed... underwear, pants, shirt...everything's going according to protocol so far...but when I go to the sock drawer I notice it's as bear as Mother Hubbard's cupboard. I go to the laundry room thinking that maybe there might be a pair of socks in the dryer that hasn't been removed yet.

It's starting to get dark out, and I walk into the laundry room and open the dryer without turning the light on. Nothing in there! Than I spot a pair of white socks on top of the dryer..washed and neatly folded. I have my sneakers in hand, so I throw the socks on and follow up with the sneakers. All set! I head to the party next door and begin to ingest everything on the menu as long as it was in liquid form. After a good time with alot of strangers and a nice fire to camp around, it's time to stagger back to the house.

I kick off the sneakers and let them fly wherever! Turn on the television, plop my useless body on the couch and pass out within 30 seconds I would estimate. The television never had any spectators that night!

In the morning the sharp rays of sunlight penetrate my blinds and bring me to a semi state of awareness once again. I scan my surroundings and am thankful that they look familiar. I am home! As I'm looking around, I notice my feet...... "OMG!!!!!!!!!! I did not do that!!!!!!" My daughter had inadvertantly washed her clothes and had left a pair of socks on the dryer............. They were pink!

On a Tuesday morning a few years ago, I was taking my daughter into Town.

As we drove into town, on the freeway, I noticed there a bunch of cars off the road all over the place and people were walking around talking... this seemed very strange.

As we approached the city, we were passed by 5 police cars going as fast as they could go blaring their sirens and lights.

They were headed toward the same place we were.

When we approached a large and heavily trafficked intersection in the heart of the city and right off of the Freeway, my daughter pointed out that a friend of my son's pickup truck was sitting sideways in the middle of the intersection with the doors open. We had an elevated and unimpeded view of the intersection

My daughter and I watched in horror as my son's 19 year old friend of 10 years pulled out an AK-47 Assault rifle and pointed it at the police that had surrounded him. He never fired a shot before he was killed by the police officers. Later they found out the assault rifle he had did not even work or have any ammunition. His father had kept the assault rifle as Trophy of his military days, it was hanging on the wall in his fathers den.

I later found out that my daughter and I were actually following directly behind the police chase, thus explaining all the cars and people off the road on the freeway.

We found out that the police had fired over 100 rounds at the kids truck as it was driving down the freeway... The dumb kid was waving the broken gun at the police as he was driving... But the police did not know it was broken and that he did not have any bullets.

Three days before this incident, I had went to the boy's fathers funeral, he had died at 48 of lung cancer.

About five or six weeks after this incident the boys mother committed suicide...

Well, quite a number of years ago I went for a motorcycle ride with a friend to another town about an hour away. My friend (whose girlfriend did not know he took me out for rides... I don't know why, she hated it, and that's all it was) parked his bike and we went into the pub for a bite of lunch and a beer.

When we came out, the bike was undrivable. A truck had backed into it and driven off, bending the fork. The kid manning the icecream stand had seen it happen. We go back into the bar and call the police.

About an hour and a half-later, the police arrive to take the report. And we are stuck on how to get home.

A man comes over and asks my friend "Are you Benny's little brother?". He went to highschool with his older brother (yet a third town) and owned a garage and lent Harry a car to get home in and a safe place to stash his bike.

That was a happy ending, but hardly the freakiest thing that has ever happened to me.

That's a sad ending to a family......... It can all end that quickly.

Another one that just happened today.

I'm casually seeing this guy Ray. I met him when he was with his friend Jim. He told me Jims daughter died and thats why Jim was sometimes a little nasty.

Well Ray calls me after not seeing me for a few weeks and we get to talking, I tell him I'd really like to go out for a drink being that my Mom died 4 years ago today. Ray tells me Jims daughter died today as well. Then he remembered it was also Sep 10th 2004. Kind of weird...small world, ya know?

I'm not even going to the freakiest thing that has happened..... it's not of this world. Most of you will say I'm another George Noory. But I have it locked up in my memory forever.
