This is the UKGC stance on CONTINUOUS monitoring of slot and game performance across all casinos, not just being satisfied with the initial eCogra test and licensing:

I dont know much about this commission but from what I see and hear they are great for the players. I could be wrong as im unfamiliar with them but they really seem to protect players and not the operators like most out there do.

I dont what people think of our commission here in Canada (Kahnwake) but they arent taken very seriously or seem like they give a crap

It appears to be aimed at the game providers, rather than casinos themselves.

But it doesn't even state that the UKGC will be checking any of the data, just that....

"Where a game indicates an error in its performance that is confirmed upon further investigation a key event must be submitted."

Since most providers don't follow ALL the UKGC rules implicitly, and get away with it. How many games providers are going to submit a report of a game under-paying

If they value their licence, all of them....

"It is possible for a design, implementation or operational issue to evade identification during testing or deployment. This may affect the game’s RTP and result in either an overpaying or underpaying product."

I take it that there is the possibility for providers - or at least was prior to 16. September last year-to alter the gameplay after all and provide us with TF hattage, it being a software programme after all

I guess that blows the 'Slots cannot ever be altered' theory out of the water :(

And rarely will you find it to be an overpaying product, but the underpaying part occurs with alarming frequency, I hasten to add!

Very informative article, Just a thought if the UKCG is adopting this policy then the rest of the countries in should too in my opinion.

I've read a lot of information written on slots from government agencies over the years.
The one thing they almost all forget to mention is volatility.
The slot can theoretically have a high RTP but in reality if the volatility is too high the slot will never reach the actual RTP.
Therefore, there must be some maximum limit to volatility. But there's not...

Did you guys know that there are different kinds of RNGs?
Check out this video on Pokerstars about the different kinds of RNG they use.

In my opinion they should also check if it is correct to add the bonuses to their rtp, for me it is not correct,
they are not withdrawable money before they have completed the wagering, consequently they maintain a higher rtp
often without having objectively possibility to take the money.
Cheers.
