"$790.40 in losses of personal funds and $18,045.75 in handles" from Bodog customer service - doesn't seem I can get any higher up the chain.

Trying to get some kind of love/comp/bonus from bodog after my 3 month long slaughter.

What do they mean by "in Handles"? It was all visa deposits. Prob. More than stated.
But I did get an $81 comp.

Any insight appreciated.

Bodog has run cold for me.

Hello,

Sorry about your bad luck.

I do not know, but maybe you have deposited $790 without bonus and the rest is it with deposit bonuses ?

Or something

I think, that your "handles" would be your total $ in playtime. In other words you have deposited $790.40 but have played around $18k in spins or hands (what ever your game is) which is pretty good hence maybe the lack of comps etc. Have you had the chance to cash out a few times at all?

That may sound like a better explanation yes :D

A $81 COMP? That amounts to a 10% cashback. If you can run it up to 250 or 300 that should be good enough. The $18k in wagers on $790 in deposits is really quite good given the volatility of rtg slots.

looking at big picture

thx for responses.

I am not totaling in all my "winnings" that I never withdrew and pissed back on spins.

I am counting all my cash / visa deposits 21K (DIDNT PLAY BONUSES- maybe a small join bonus) and had a total of 2 withdrawls of 1200 and 1000.

I know Silver Oak is listed as rogue- and I am awaiting a 2400 withdrawal check to arrive next week - but they have assigned me an EXCELLENT VIP rep - who regularly deposits bonuses back AND they give 10 percent back end of month on money bet/lost.

Silver Oak certainly gets an "A" in my book for customer relations. Will be an A+ upon receipt of withdrawl and I know I've been warned here re: SO group , but personal attention puts them ahead of the game in my book.

To my mind, doesn't sound like you've been treated unfairly. While your luck was not good, it was at least middling. I'm assuming "handlings" mean slot pulls, it's not a term I'm familiar with.

If you deposited $10 79 times, maybe "handlings" means something else, but $18K seems excessive. Sometimes casinos restrict comp points if you deposit with a bonus, ie, if you get a 100% match, you might only earn 1/2 the comp points since half is from the casino.

Comp points tend to be higher for slots than tables, percentage wise. And they do vary from casino to casino. I'm not a Bodog player, so I don't know what WR (if any) are attached to the $81 you got in points, but it seems like just over 10% consolation prize seems pretty fair IMO, if it's low wagering and no max cashout.

Almost $800 over three months is not large in casino terms, they probably don't care that much if they lose your business. And you could have been lucky, and you may be lucky next time.

While I'm not a Bodog player, I've been a forum member here for a few years, and they are reputable to the best of my knowledge.

Some casinos regularly offer cashback if you lose. And they may be restricted in terms of what you can cashout if you win. Comp point redemption may or may not have terms attached, check with your casino.

If you don't feel you are getting the right bang for your buck, check out the CM accredited list for other venues.

Kathleen, you posted while I was writing. Do you lose $790 dollars of your money, or $18,000 of your money?

I know if you are playing without a bonus, at some point it's your money.

If you deposited $21K and only withdrew less than 3K, I'm sure you made more than $18K in bets. I don't know if you play slots or VP or blackjack. How many comp points you earn usually depend on what you play. Sometimes some bets don't count at all, like red/black or double up on VP, varies from casino to casino.

No casino owes you anything extra post wager, unless it's in their terms. If you deposited 21K of your own money, withdrew less than 3K, and the best they can do to keep you is $81, I'd move on.

You are some casino's dream client.

For the record, I am too.

kathleen, I don't understand 791.40 in losses yet again you saY YOU DEPOSITERD $21K so far.

That is not the reason for my adding my 2cents worth here

BODOG definitely adjusted their rtg SLOTS as opposed to other RTG based operations. Remember , they bought the rights to do this.
But I think BODOG is the most generous casino when it comes to comp. I have never deposited there and lost it all(usually)
and not wake up the next morning to find "bonus" I don't even call it a bonus because you can withdraw it , though its never large enough but you can add to it and then withdraw without any WR

I play mostly VP there and never deposited more than $150 at anytime. If I lose that immediately there is a small amount
of "bonus" however if you happen to win and play a lot and lose it all back the bonus is bigger
So in my opinion BODOG is a fair casino and you can also do sports betting there too and horse racing . Its ideal for someone who loves "action" I wont even in jest say for sick gamblers since it might be construed wrongly and then be banned BY THE MEISTER ior admitting one is a sick addict LOL

Bodog gives back 10% cash back on loses.

The 18k is handle, which means the total amount you bet. so if you did 180 $100 slot spins.

Stick with Silver Oak. Top notch operator

They will be lucky to get a C-. Just ask Anniemac or better still get Moody or Standard & Poor to give an evaluation.

I know it's difficult when English isn't your primary language, but it's very hard to decipher your meaning from what you wrote. Do you know anyone who is bilingual with English as their primary language who can help translate?

.

I just noticed now that the OP already have had another Bodog thread here

I think it is unnecessary to start yet another thread. This time you should have sent a PM to the Bodog rep instead imo.

I saw /sensed that "adjustments" went on, with the long long cold runs, I didn't know background on their purchasing rights to do this. Fabulous. Please don't hold back from reposting info like this, as a new member I haven't read archives.

Fair casino --- I can't judge, I don't know enough about what goes on w/ their "adjustments". I would guess only upper mgt really see the inner workings.

"Personal service" at Bodog - as opposed to what I've experienced at silver oak - is non existant.

So I vote w/ my feet. And as said before --- book flights for brick and mortar casinos. That helps in my quest for "moderation" and practicing the walk away :).

Not sure how we got from Bodog to Silver Oak----- but from my experience at Silver Oak and Royal Acewhich is now well over 12 months old --- Silver Oak gives you great attention and stroking, but you have to fight to get withdrawals processed. You get lots of promises, but it was like the VIP Manager had to personally fight for you to get your w/d in line for processing and then it was always 2-3 weeks later than promised. I got tired of constantly haranguing with them to try and get paid. Eventually I got my money out of them, but it wasn't worth the work when there are so many other reputable sites to play at. So I dropped them as a casino choice a long time ago. Every few months someone calls from either Silver Oak or Royal Ace inviting me back and I tell them to drop me from their call list and I am not interested.

I DO hope you get paid from them, but there is a reason they are Rogue. IMO
