I haven't hit crap there, nada, nothing, (I am a very small depositer, always under $50) I received a manager bonus of $30 with no playthrough the other day.

Make sense out of that? My birthday is so special I have to wager 30 times which is impossibe!!!!

I didn't think 3Dice would be like this. Seeing that honestly put me in a bad mood.

I deposit at a lot of casinos first off i dont think any casino needs to send us a bday gift to begin with. And when your lucky enough to get a bday gift from the casinos i dont think they would say here is 25 take it elsewhere to play at least you can try and build it up and cash it out later. Its our choice where we play not theirs and if this is one of their promotions i think they are kind enough to rmbr us on our bdays more so then some of the other places or family and friends for that matter

FWIW, I've done well at 3Dice this year and, probably not coincidentally, I have never received a bonus from them other than the standard loyalty bonus. My play is different when I use free money and I don't seem to do as well. Regardless, I really don't understand posting a negative thread about a gift. Wow.

The chat hosts and hostesses are absolutely the best. They correct any problem that should arise immediately. They don't make you do email tag to get something straightened out.

I would think that you would be happy that the casino would even offer you a birthday present. And a 30x wr is not bad at all, and is very easily reachable.

Maybe you should of played for awhile and checked all the games out before you made a deposit. I think if you would give the casino a chance you would see how good it actually is.

My post was sorta compairing the bonuses I received....manager bonus=no WR....birthday bonus=30 WR....it doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't it be the other way around?

THat being said this is my perspective on this (right or wrong)

Manager bonus = A gift that comes from "earning it" It's a reward for depositing and saying "here is a free no WR for being loyal"

Birthday: A lot of ppl are going to disagree with me and Im sorry for that , you can even look for any posts near my bday last year (which you wont find)
I believe there is no entitlement to anything just because you were born. I think if anyone is given anything, its a nice gesture.

They could of just given $10 no WR but then everyone would say that was cheap, They decided to give you $30 but with a WR. I think people (not you persay JP) take these birthdays for granted. Hell, I dont even expect anything from my own family as busy as they are.

On the other hand: Would I personally put a WR on a birthday gift? Probably not but then again, I dont know what their financials are, I dont know how much JP deposits. If you have to look at the whole picture. There are hundreds of people signed up, hell maybe thousands, I dont know. If I owned a casino and had to give every single person a no WR for their birthday and only half won, Id be out of business.

I just dont believe in looking a gift horse in the mouth. It is what it is...a gift

Well, I deposited 50, got a 12.50 Gonegambling bonus & a small birthday bonus.

End result:-

1) Cashed out 200 from my 50

2) Claimed GG bonus & added it to 10 left over - made it to 85

3) Got birthday bonus (with 30x WR), added it on, and met WR to cash out 400

It was mainly SLOTS that did this, and on low bets of around 0.50 to 0.75

I had a sequence of good bonus rounds on Supersuits which made up nearly 300 of the cashout, and other good hits kept me going through the WR.

It seems the best strategy for these free chips at 3Dice is to bet low.

30X WR could also be ground out at Blachjack, where it would have a small +EV in the long term. Microgaming casinos would require the 30x to be on SLOTS, and Blackjack would be 300x!

I emailed Ellen and told her that strings attached to a bonus that is so small, when up against 3Dice games "VARIANCE", isn't really a gift at all. She was very nice and removed the requirement. I've lost alot and personally, I've cashed out there once, for 1K. That was the only lucky thing that has happened there. Sure, they give you 25-30 bucks every so often, but I feel like I have a better chance of hitting the lottery than winning much at 3Dice lately. They say that lots of people win alot there everyday, guess I'm not one of them. They do have the best CS around though and that is something. So, I don't believe that you are banging on the highchair, just in the same boat as all us that play there lately. Hope they don't turn into another RTG where they might as well put a banner up that says, FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY!! Good luck, I just lost another $100 for today there.

Yes the variance is a problem for me, mainly because I only play slots and deposit small amounts, my money usually doesn't last long, or if it does last long, I never get over a certain point money wise. When I first started depositing there, I was winning all the time, I couldn't believe it, but now it's different.

I think I'm gonna go over to Vinyls house and rub on him for luck

though any gift (and the thought that comes with it) is always nice and should be appreciated, i can totally understand how justplay might have felt. i actually didn't even know that 3dice had ANY WR outside of the initial sign-up bonus so that would have thrown me for a loop as well. Regardless, it was still a nice gesture for a birthday, though i hope it doesn't become more common for bonuses and gifts to have WR's at 3dice (seems kinda contrary to what they have been doing so far.)

Besides, i'm sure this is not going to get in the way of justplay having a WONDERFUL AND FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY!!!!

if the bonus is small and the wr makes you likely to go broke, use the time-tested wh0re strategy. bet big and attempt to double or 4x up at something even money like bj or baccarat, or even roulette or vp. go broke in seconds or have a decent stack to start lowrolling to clear it.

dice is cool. i'm about break even there and enjoy their games. mostly i avoid all slots, but when i played supersuits i made about fifty spins and got a nice bonus round, around 250 bucks on a .75-1.5 bet.
