You have just exemplified the vast difference between mechanical pub machines, and online slots. It is exactly the same in the UK, except that he pubs/arcades are even lower than 87-89% in most cases, with the exception of B3's which are 90-92%.
These few % difference make a massive effect on your gameplay and recycling of winnings. This is why I've always said once I played online slots I'd never play a pub/arcade slot again. I haven't put a coin in a mechanical slot for nearly 4 years now.
You've also got the fact that many pub pokies and arcade slots are compensated too.
If you played a pokie/slot in a pub on 88% say and got used to it, and it was changed without you knowing up or down by 2%, you'd notice the big difference straight away in its behaviour. This is because the RTP is met over a very short amount of plays.
You've played online with 94-98% RTP's, and now you've seen how terrible slots are when set below this. Avoid them.

Not really the latest aristocrat, just some "new-ish" - more hearts, siberian storm,wicked win (I bet min on this one, knew it high variant) etc but my point - rtp at 87 - 89% for 5c slots are outrages.

I played WMS at nordicbet. Feel pretty good and will play more.
