Your Input Please Fed-up with disconnections

This might sound strange, and may purely be coincidence.
But last week when i was getting a lot of lag at, i think it was, Thrills.

I decided to check my internet connection. so I did an online speed test.
It just showed what I was expecting, quick ping, and 70 meg download speed, can't remember the upload speed. but there were no surprises.

Except ALL the lag disappeared as soon as the tests completed.

Like I say, it might just be coincidence, or it may be that downloading and uploading those dummy files, could have unclogged something or other.

might be worth a try though, since it only takes a couple of minutes

Cheers Brian.

48.1MB download
5.2MB upload

I ran casino games in the late 90's on a 56KB phone line, both MG and RTG, and never experienced such issues. The data packets my laptop sends and receives to/from the casino servers are pretty much the same size as they were in those days, yet with internet speeds 1000x faster they can't handle it correctly

The thing is though... try running a speed test WHEN you're experiencing problems

Both down- and upload much lower when the casino software is running:

- without: ping 1ms, down 48.1, up 5.2, repeated it twice to make sure
- with casino: see below

So WTF is going on??? What are casinos doing to bring my speed down? Even at lower or Jon's speed above, it should be no problem to run the games

This happens at Karamba !! Spins would be fine, then the reels start landing all at once, then it will lag.. You go to change the slot and BAM !! You've been logged out  It happens every time you go to change a slot (Unless you only have about 10 spins)

It's not the only site I've noticed it on, but it is mostly with Karamba for me

same problems and disconnections and my connection is stable and fast enough....i think..!!

Today - 3 different countries:

Pings: 1 - 9ms
Download: 4 - 200MB
Upload: 0.45 - 20MB

--> disconnections and errors across the board all the time

18 years ago with a phone line:

Pings: 20-25ms
Download: max 56KB
Upload: 5 - 10KB

--> very, very rarely a disconnection/game error

Data packets are the same size today and 18 years ago. I can only assume that casino operators are purely LYING when blaming our internet connection for the game errors and trying to push the issue to the player instead of looking for a proper solution (hehe, that would cost money  ).

They are taking the p*ss!!
