I said it before, however I finally feel mature enough to accually mean it this time! I said it several times before, I know, however I feel I just aswell say goodbye to all the people here in the forum!
I will not be attending the forum either, since we all know what happends when surfing around in the forum... You want to play! So this is a concious descision I just have to make, it sucks since I love gambling. Online gambling is very convinient, however very expencive.
I remember Rowin had some issues with 3Dice, but after looking at the records he was all fine and dandy with the conclusion that on high variance slots you should not expect to win more than on each 20th session. So for some reason I sat down thinking of this, since MG has to be considered NOT high variance mostly. And I started looking into my logs for 2008, which has been one bad year in payout. I started looking at accounts, running the playcheck data through my analyzer and noticed that a few accounts on the MG casinos had 10.000+ spins with a <75% payout, and I have accounts with 100.000+ spins in 2008 with 87% payout aswell. Then I started looking at total deposits for 2008, and looked for any possible withdrawals.
I did have one withdrawal on 3 January, however that was a win from christmas that went through - so in reality there are no withdrawals in 2008. I also noticed I tried to switch tactics in 2008, doing many spins on low wager play progressively. Statistically this means I did get more playtime, and alot more features, but the features are pretty much 100% payback all the time. Like - you start with $100, down to $30 you get the feature after progressive betting and you win $30 - back to scratch.
Or - start with $500, down to $50 and win $400. This obviously seems to be a recurring pattern in my gameplay all over the place again and again. And I always go for the 1K marker.
As far as I can see, regardless the deposits, I did reach 1K on 28 August (This however was after a 2K loss the previous week, so in reality no big deal). I should have cashed out, however I tipped below 1K and believed I could get back up again and lost it all. Other than that I must have trippled the deposit a handful of times, however when you have lost a few Ks in an account for some reason I have a problem settling for $300.
In the end, especially looking at the last 3 months, I do not get a winning session in 20 session in MG. Surely I have a twisted way of looking at a winnings session, making $200 become $300 is not win in my head since it wouln't make up for today and previous days deposits.
If doubling a deposit is concidered a win - and 1 session in 20 is concidered the norm - that means: $100 x 20 sessions = $2000 in wager. 1 winning sessions equals $100 x2 = $200 equals $1800 in losses. If this is the case it's even clearer to me, so again, doubling the deposit is not a win in my mind.
This is clearly the reason why I am the perfect customer for the casino, and the reason why I either can or should allow myself to wager. Surely if I would like to ruin my life while getting thousands of dollards in bonuses while doing so, I should keep going...
So why am I writing this at all? First of all I find it theraputic, second this is the right place to blow of the steem since you people atleast have the basic understanding on where I am coming from. Some of you I know agree with me, some of you feel I am a twisted moron with a big mouth! I do belive, from the bottom of my heart, that the online systems are rigged. I do not believe there are any online gaming system I have played that is not rigged. I know people like zoozie believes I am just a sucker for reading stats the wrong way, and that I do not have the basic understanding of chaos theory. (yo KK! ). It really doesn't matter in the end, what should be impossible do happen! Seems to me you can skew the payuts in the MG system, however statistical abnormalities allows such "patterns" to emerge, and as we all know they usually (as in almost never) go in my favour. Maby I am just a sore looser, maby I just have a broken logic when it comes to random.
However - pattern opr random - I will probably never understand why increasing the bet usually results in loosing even if you increase the bankroll equal to the increased bet! That is - if I can usually play 1 hour for $100 on $0.09, why on earth can I not play 1 hour on $1000 on $0.9? I never get that one, I never do! To bad I keep trying to proove this point with my money for a silly forum-argument? Believe you me, it's all very ironic really!
Where do I go from now?
Well thats a really good question. Do I need to stop wager online? Yes. Do I need to stop visiting this forum? Yes. Do I need to stop doing tournaments? Yes. Do I need to stop gambling all together? .... Ouch ... yes is the answer. To bad the funmode doesn't produce any adrenaline at all!
I'm going to Spain during christmas, and I will most likely visit the casino there (we do not have casinos in Norway), however it will be a landbased one. I will leave my credit card at the hotell and only bring say 2K, and I will have to see if I can enjoy this experience or if I am totally lost in gambling at all. Well, to be honest it already sounds a little crazy since I am prepared to bring 2K into the casino, but what kind of fun do you get for a 100 bucks theese days?
Well, I'll get back to this thread after christmas and sum up the result after the Spain casino trip and by then I will have made up my mind for whatever 2009 should hold for me!
(Also, if for some reason any of the casino representatives in here where I did close down the accounts were to offer me more manager bonuses (or a casino I didn't even play at lately for that matter), please do, but just to let you know - they will all go for $25 spins on Harveys. If a feature is hit - whatever the win would be - remaining balance will be $20 spins on Glory of Rome. If feature achieved, I will most likely be above 1K and be a happy gambler again ready for new deposits! Atleast a few $25 spins will be quick and humane for me, Let me add, should the win which will not occure be above 2K, I will wager down to 1K on $90 on Good to go! That would make my day for sure!)
Astalavista fellow gamblers!
