Had an email informing me that Stan James are going bye bye. Being swallowed up by the monster known as Unibet

Which annoys me on a couple of levels, namely, I play at SJ not Unibet, another bookie annulled, and I'm not sure verification even 'transfers' between casinos. I think not.

Result? Less choice for me and far more uncertainty as another one bites the dust. Looks like 2018 is the year of consolidation and mergers

Didn't know that - and that REALLY sucks!
Not a player there, but I promote SJ and have a really good RS deal with them. My deal with Unibet is MUCH lower and I don't get much action there.
So sounds like bad news all round... :(

{edit} Just checked my e-mails a realised they did inform me of this, but I just thought it was the affiliate back-ends which were merging - not the casinos. That'll teach me to read things more carefully in the future!

I thought Unibet planned initially on running SJ as it was but think they decided on full migration - but like buying a readymade customer database.

Unfortunately a decent loyalty programme isn’t something you’ll get in return :)
And at £19 million Stan James was quite a snip. They're getting that entire customer database worth a lot of money. They may hawk my personal information for profit but they won't see another deposit from me, the cads!
