I don't know about anyone else but I used to enjoy reading about the evil players and the tricks they'd try and their lame screenshots. Like that one woman who won and then lost all her money and tried to make it look like a hacker did it, sending herself threatening messages etc. That was a hoot! (in a sad & pathetic way I mean ;))

I'd like to see some of those players get spanked on the forum (NO NOT YOU ROB! :p) but I know most of that work would have to be done by CM or Max (or the blue guy heh) who are dealing with the complaints so it's probably unrealistic to bring it up, right?

The problem is that in most cases, the "fraudulent" player situation isn't very entertaining. Cases of "Evil Rhonda" are few and far between. Most of the fraud that Max and I deal with are from players who blatantly lie, cheat, and waste our time. They then go off to other forums and trash the work that is done here. We put up with a lot of crap.

Sometimes I bust the fraudsters out in a public way - sometimes not. Perhaps I should do it more often - it would bang home the fact that player fraud is a very big issue - bigger than many people care to believe. And it's the reason why decent players have to jump through hoops making cash outs etc. You can blame the a-hole fraudsters.

Oh, you can joke about it. There are some real retards out there. :D

Another thing is that the casinos - and Max and I - are reluctant to explain why and how people get caught. If these guys are on to the stupid mistakes they make, then it's harder to catch these people. We end up making our work harder and more time consuming - and that isn't good.

Who?

Do you know the thread title. I know it was said that its hard to catch frausdsters if you publicly explain situation. I totally agree. I thought it may be ok to look this one up because it is old. Sounds interesting is all.

Yes I think you should - I know that there are people who are new to the whole online gambling scene who post here getting upset that their account is locked or their withdrawal is on hold while waiting for doc verification - if they could see the other side of the issue and the amount of player fraud then they'd understand the reasoning behind what might seem unreasonable casino demands. Maybe you could just have a running total of fraudulent PABs somewhere. I bet everyone would be amazed at how the numbers add up.

Evil Rhonda....lol - what a wacko. Do you still have that article on the site somewhere, I'd love to read that again.

Yea, on one hand it is funny, on the other it affects all of us.

"Ahhhhh, I was Hacked".

From On line casino's to bank accts, to paypal, you name it. Then when one of us, Really did get Hacked", What used to be, "the customer is always right", and the bank starts an investigation, NOW it is, "Prove to use up front you were hacked, by whom, and where, ect" and if we determine you MAY really have been hacked we might look into it.

I love all the stuff people here in Vegas did, or tried to get free money. If not for Greed, they would have at least gotten away with it for a longer time, and could have enjoyed their ill gotten gains before going off the the slammer...

Did you ever see the video of the guy throwing himself down the escalator to try to sue a Vegas casino? He actually does a test run first - of course he's on camera through the whole thing so he took a tumble for nothing - actually I believe he was charged too.

Rhonda Rhonda.....I wonder where she is now? Actually not to be mean but I had flashbacks to Rhonda's storytelling while reading some post by/about someone else who until recently used to be a member in the forum. 'nuff said! ;)

Actually, it got worse...didn't she try to bring her daughter (or son, I forget) into this by saying that they used her card(s) without permission? And even then it's totally possible that she doesn't have kids..I feel sorry for the kids if she is a mother...

First off welcome to the forum...second, we're not ripping on gambling addicts, we're ripping on people who make fraudulent claims against casinos either after they lose their ass or just out of plain greed. Maybe some of them do have gambling problems but even if they do, that's not the issue. The issue is that they lie and cheat and make up wild stories and waste everyone's time.

That being said, some of the people in the forum (past and present) have admitted to having a gambling problem and decide to quit gambling and they get a lot of support from the other members here. We've all had a taste of addiction of one form or another but most of us know how to take responsibility for it. If I lose the rent money at a casino I'm sure as hell not going to make a dummy screenshot and start ranting about how the casino ripped me off - I'm gonna give myself a kick in the ass and work extra hours and hopefully learn from it.

Sadly most of these players get banned and you never hear from them again...
We should instead make a section for them and put up a warning that these players should not be emulated...

These people generate like 5000 views in record time we have to give them credit for that much attention...I remember some guy posting a way to abuse a certain RTG slot and various ways to abuse. Most of his info was directed at abusing rogue listed casinos so why ban him ?The rogues are asking for it anyway.Quickly after his posts I noticed this slot disappeared for about a year.Obviously he achieved something :)

They help casinos stop exploits!By posting about how they abused really they aren't doing evil they are actually saving the casinos a lot of money in the future. And if someone else tries to emulate them he/she will get caught anyways since a lot of casino reps read these posts.

Why not open a section for them?It would save the headache of having them sneak up posts then getting banned. And finally allow people that have a gifted mind to speak up without getting banned,Evil player and abuser section :) I don't know about you but it would entertain me to read posts from evil people and their plots...

I have done quite a bit of photo manipulation, editing and repair in my time so I was curious about the fake royal flush picture. I didn't know there was a comparison picture at first so I looked at the one the player submitted. I could actually see the editing even without the comparison. I don't think I've seen a fake photo that bad since I got to pretend to see Lindsay Lohan nude.

If anyone believed that photo, maybe they'll believe this one of me.
