[pab-in-progress]I signed up to EUCasino through another casino forum where they had an exclusive blackjack bonus offer.

The bonus was 50% up to a maximum bonus of $500, so I deposited 1000 to receive 500 bonus.

After completing the 30x wagering requirement, although my balance swung up and down, I finished on my starting balance of 1500. I cashed out 1000 and came back later to play some more. After further play, again I finished approximately on my current balance, which was now 500.

I went to cash out but received a message:

(start message)
Dear (user),

I am writing to you regarding your withdrawal request.

During our routine account investigations we have detected a play pattern considered irregular gaming for bonus play-through requirement purposes.
The following is stated in our Terms and Conditions:

E.g. play patterns such as the playing for deliberate minimum risk, playing of equal, zero margin bets or hedge betting, placing single bets using your entire or the majority of your account balance and bonus, shall all be considered irregular gaming for bonus play-through requirement purposes.

As per our Terms and Conditions we have the right to withhold any cashouts and confiscate all winnings and bonuses should we find practices such as above have been used.

Accordingly your withdrawal request will be canceled and bonus funds of amount 500 GBP removed from your Real Balance.

Please be advised that this is the final decision and no further correspondence will be entered.

Regards,

I am very surprised, disappointed and annoyed by this decision.
I was genuinely gambling with my own money. Let's examine the individual accusations:

(1) Deliberate minimal risk: I was betting between 25 and 100 a time on average (potentially more with doubling/splitting). Therefore a real chance of losing a good chunk of my funds, in addition to the bonus over the wagering requirement. (They would not have complained had this happened of course )

(2) Equal, zero margin bets or hedge betting: Not possible in blackjack to my knowledge.

(3) Placing single bets using your entire or the majority of your account balance and bonus: No, the maximum bet I placed was 200 (I cannot get at my game history because they have locked my account, but it would not have been more than this).

In addition, I wagered well above the playthrough requirement and after my first cashout, went back to play more, including other games - not just blackjack.

This is my first complaint (and indeed post) to CM forum but I have decided not to PAB because (A) I would lose my "one free hit" and (B) the bonus offer was claimed through another casino forum, which I will be happy to give details of, if the CM Moderators allow. (The other forum have since withdrawn the offer after their contact with EUCasino yielded nothing.)[/pab-in-progress]

That's not really the idea. The "one free hit" is there to help people (like yourself) who are new here and don't know anything about accredited casinos etc. It's not supposed to be something for you to save up until you need it.
In other words Casinomeister members are expected to know about the Accredited Casino list and the Rogue Pit and understand that they are there to inform players of sites that are trustworthy and those that are not.
This is the only thread I could find about EU casino, it looks like you were lucky to come out ahead!

Quite true and well said!

In fact your "One Free Shot" isn't something you can "save for later". There is no "later" with the OFS: it's applicable to your FIRST PAB only, it's not available on any subsequent PABs.

The idea is that once you know the PAB process, via your first PAB, then you'll be using the Accredited Casinos. This is why the OFS does not apply after your first PAB.

So I look forward to your PAB on this.

Until then,
Regards,
Max.

PS. I should add that we have had no actionable PABs on EUCasino in the last two years (which is when I started doing the PABs).

I guess I misunderstood the PAB process  Thank you for going easy on me :)

I will therefore PAB and in future use accredited casinos.

I see your PAB has come through. I'll get to it first thing in the morning.

Just a reminder that you are expected to read and comply with the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ.

Since you're a newbie here you should know that includes not discussing your PAB on the forums until the PAB has run it's course. All of this is in the FAQ.
