Just saw the news and interview last night at CNN.
a Singaporean claims that he can fix football matches.

Nothing new there,matchfixing is happening every day,and the normal common people running to the bookies every day don't even know about it losing their money on a so called certain bet...
When I do place a sportbook bet I nearly always do live in game betting so at least you have an idea what the result is gonna be,ok lower payouts if you pick the team that is winning but more sure then just placing blind bets...
Matchfixing happens in all sports where we can bet on unfortunatelly...
Big gambling syndicates from the far east and also eastern Europe rule the market...

Always keep that in mind when betting.
