ebay and echeck?

I was doing a little shopping on ebay and ran in to a vendor on ebay that takes "echeck". I would assume this is the same "echeck" that the casinos are using, no? Has anyone used them on ebay? If I bought two or three items on there and had a few casino purchases I'm wondering if someone (in an enclosed room with no windows and limited food:rolleyes:) is going through every transaction to make sure it is a product and NOT gambling?

Any thoughts?

Paying with an echeck is done by hundreds of 'processing' companies across the web. It's also know as an ach (automated clearing house transaction). Paypal uses echecks for clients to pay merchants. So I don't think someone is sitting in a cubicle deciding which are for auction items and which are for online casinos. I think that banks in the US are sharing information on processors, such as the recently shut down navaho networks (EWX) or bgs.us (echeck.us.com) which is still up, and then once they are determined to be for gambling transactions, the banks are refusing to process the withdrawl.

I have a gambling bank account where I keep my poker bankroll, and lately I have been using it for online casino echecks. Just two weeks ago my bank started to reject the echecks I was writing to echeck.us.com for purchases at CasinoUS, but the whole time I have been recieving echecks from pstars. They informed me that they no longer would facilitate my 'gaming' and advised that they would not be accepting ACH transactions from known gambling payment processors either. So I asked about some pending E-checks I had just recieved from some obscure processor in the Isle of Man, and they said, "Oh, those are fine." Those 'fine' echeck deposits were from Pstars.

So go figure. The d of j is doing its best to deny us our rights. But even aided by the banks and their tip offs, they can't shut down the processors fast enough...

Thanks...that's what I was trying to determine if it was, in fact, the same echeck processor that processes casino transactions and ebay payments or a different one. I also use a different bank account for gambling and I've received the form letter about no online gambling transactions but they haven't actually talked to me yet. I had a wire transfer come in a couple of weeks ago and nothing was ever said. I guess we shall see.
