Does any norwegians use an e-wallet succesfully with Casinos?

Skrill: Cant upload funds for gambling
Neteller: Cant upload funds for gambling
Entropay: works, but insane transaction fees

Any other countries with the same laws?

Ecocard has worked fine for me. But they have pretty high fees, so usually I just play on sites that approve Norwegian cards.

I have been using Skrill since 2012, and you can upload funds. But you have to upload funds via bank transfer.

You are correct in that you can't load it with your visa card, and that is because of the gambling law introduced in 2010 which prevents all Norwegian banks from processing gambling related card transactions.

I've been wondering about this option. How fast will your Skill balance be updated after the transfer?

It usually takes 1-2 days, there are no upload fees.

Withdrawals from skrill to your bank account are quick, usually the next day with a fee of 25NOK(free if you are VIP)

True even though the banks are not allowed to do direct gambling transactions the casinos get around this by using third party processors like ticket surf, fundsend, swiftvoucher etc.

BUT these are all expensive for the player since most of them process in Euros and the casinos often take an additonal 2.5% deposit fee for cards, and withdrawals back to the players bank account often incur additional fees related to currency exchange since most casinos use banks located in Malta and send the money as Euros.

So the advantage of using an E-wallet is that you don't have to pay loads of fees and you get the full amount in NOK when withdrawing.

Have had very bad experience with both Ticket Surf and Fundsend. Some 1/4 times i try them.

Requests they get a decline on(for some reason?) are reserved from my bank account sometimes for weeks. Could be my banks fault. But sometimes it works... 3/4..

You can upload money to Skrill with Paysafecard, which is pretty expensive, 5.5% fee.

But there are many casinos that don't apply any fee to Paysafecard deposits and allow you to withdraw the winnings from Paysafecard deposit to an E-wallet, if you have previously done deposits with E-wallet on that casino.

Also on some casinos the "Paysafecard withdrawals only to bank account" description in payment methods is actually "Paysafecard withdrawals only to bank account, or on to any previously used deposit method that can also be used for withdrawal" but the latter term would take too much space on the payment method description.

Since E-wallet withdrawals are probably the cheapeast withdrawal method for casinos, if you have linked your E-wallet to casino account with a deposit, they don't really have any good reason not to allow withdrawal to e-wallet.

But just in case if there is that kind of "Paysafecard withdrawals only to bank account" term, it is good to ask whether it actually means that or is it actually "Paysafecard withdrawals only to bank account, or on to any previously used deposit method that can also be used for withdrawal"

I've withdrawn Paysafecard winnings to previously used Skrill account on Betsson and Guts.
