I just got an email from DrHo888.com saying that they are closing down already.

The email goes something like ...

==========================================

Dear player,

First of all, we would like to thank you for playing at DrHo888 casino.

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that DrHo888.com will be shut down within the next 24 hours. However, this shut down has no effect on your account information and balance. You can still come and play with our beautiful dealers at ho368.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have problems accessing ho368.com, please send an email to our Customer Support Team at support@ho368.com.

Regards,

DrHo888.com Management Team

They are Boss created (Live Casino) then they took up PlayTech. Now, they are closing? Very interesting... does anyone gamble there? Any feedback?

This is pretty strange.

www.ho368.com is a parked domain, and on the main DrHo site there is this notice but not much detail:

In light of the new U.S. legislation regarding Internet gaming, no U.S. players will be permitted to play.

Are you a US player perhaps?

24 hours notice is really not acceptable, especially when unaccompanied by guidance on clearing accounts, reasons for closure etc.

We've asked them for more information on this.

Works fine for me. My instinct says that this is a software change, I do not recognize the "computer" game on the left side of the screen. Furthermore, the previews only show the live games.

Judging by the photos of the dealers, plus a traceroute, they have moved to Costa Rica.

BTW, aodat2 is in Asia, not the US :)

The Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) link definitely led to a parking spot when we checked yesterday, but is now up and pretty close replica to the Ho888 site. We've fired off a new enquiry in the hope that these guys will wake up and tell the players what is going on here.

Believe it or not, I actually got this email on all 4 addresses that I registered with them. I don't know if this is something crazy or something wrong sent out by their people. But if you say that they are not closing anytime soon, then why in the world are they actually sending that email out?

Doesn't that email specifically say that they are closing down?

Very strange....I wonder what the significance of 368 is. I would figure they'd use 365 or something that was mare "catchy".

6 and 8 are lucky numbers for chinese
so 666 888 168 268 368 .... are very popular.

china ISPs filtered Ladbrokes.com, so lad set up lad168.com and lad268.com for chinese players.

easy to remember, nothing special, just like super 7 in western countries.

DrHo888 as far as I know has never used Playtech software.

Their home office with dealers are located in Costa Rica about 10 blocks from my house

I received the email as well, who knows if they got heat from the US..

DrHo888 used PT for their standard casino - but Casino Reality for their live dealer solution - which explains why that part was always in Costa Rica.

They did use playtech software but that was 3 years ago. I had an account there.

Can anyone confirm this (RTG change) please?

We have been unable to squeeze any sort of explanation for this short notice move out of the Support personnel, who finally responded after four days to our enquiries.

They simply advise what we already know - that DrHo888 has closed and been replaced by Ho368.com, and that all user names and passwords have been migrated.

Ho368.com

Currently says they are "upgrading... back shortly". Anyone know whats going on. Is this genuine or are they in trouble?
