Dream Vegas: Self Exclusion glitch?

if I am sent documentation from the Casino, Dream Vegas, confirming “Self-Exclusion indefinite. You are prevented from gambling on any of our products” and within the TC it states “SE is across the Network.”

But am still able to open multiple accounts across the same owned Network well after exclusion, do I have a case to take my complaint further?

Note not a UK player but the TC’s explicitly state the SE conditions under their TC’s to be across network.

Thanks

Why are you trying to open multiple accounts across an entire network of casinos? Doesn't sound like you're self excluding; sounds like you're gaming the system.

Go ahead - violate the agreement you made with Dream Vegas about self excluding, open some accounts make some deposits, win some or lose some, and see what happens. They will probably confiscate everything and accuse you of player fraud.

Then go ahead and try taking your complaint to someone. We'd probably shit-can it. Just sayin'. :D

Yeah I get what your saying, as in “free rolling scum” but how is that abiding by any ethical standard of a Casino? It literally diminishes the entire purpose of their SE exclusion across all brands, what is the point in having it in the first place when it is completely pointless? For instance for an alcohol, “I will take this bottle I’m holding infront of you away but there are 18 more lined up beside you, I’ll ask you not to drink them but won’t stop you.” My entire point is what is the point when it’s not bothered to be implemented and followed? So are you staying sever problem gambling and addiction isn’t an issue to be discussed?

Of course addiction is something to be discussed here at Casinomeister, and if you were more familiar with this forum and our mission, you'd realize that was a pretty lame thing to say.

What I am getting at is that since SE rules have come into play these past few years, many players try to game the system to get a win/win out of the deal. And I am pretty sure you know what I mean, so I don't need to explain how this is done. And then there are players that expect software to protect them - thinking that if they are allowed to click something like some link or register somewhere, that they are good to go, never mind the terms and conditions that they agreed to.

Another point to be made is that you WON"T be banned from sister sites in the UK or EU according to the UKGC and MGA. Players are expected to either use Gamstop or just not play. Most players assume that SE bans are made group wide, but they aren't - not anymore EXCEPT for casinos licensed by Kahnawake. Max and I discuss this in our 10 December 2021 podcast Player Exclusion myths. @9:25

And I am not saying you are gaming the system, but why set up a bunch of accounts when you are self excluding? I presume you are SEing because you are having gambling problems or issues with being in control of your online activities. Self excluding for the majority of folks means to quit gambling. If you have indeed "quit", why are you trying to sign up at other casinos? To prove a point?

If you're trying to prove a point, well... there is no point to be made since these the casinos have no obligation to ban you group wide.

Thanks, this post is honestly what I needed to read today. I do respect it and I’m sorry for the lame remarks made, this forum has a vast amount of input, knowledge etc. I’ve been a gambling addict for 6 years now and recently have fallen off the wagon per se. I’ve gone from being clean for months and within a week I’m down the rabbit hole again. I just find it extremely frustrating as the impulse is so strong, all rational thinking is thrown out the window and when it’s in writing that I’m excluded across the network but I’m not it’s easier to blame the Platforms than myself. Anyways I know it’s an issue only the individual can truly fix, just wanted to say thanks for your response and sorry to come off as a jerk. Ive listen to your podcasts and they’ve helped a lot/provided perspective.

Cheers

You could try Betblocker if you are outside of UK.

It is probably a useful tool to stop impulse based deposits, and could provide that extra time needed to make a more level-headed decision.
You can read more about it by clicking this link:

or here:Interview with Betblocker founder.

One could argue that its more effective than something like gamstop, because Betblocker does not only block casinos licensed for the uk market, so its not as easy to work around by just signing up to some crypto site or curacao licensed casino.
