Don't you hate it when..........

You drop your bet down to virtually nothing to play off a small balance?

Playing on a bonus at one of my favorite casinos. Have been on a good run these last few months. Betting strong varying bets $5 to $25/spin , just can't catch anything good. Almost down to zero, know that I will deposit again --- but have to make sure that I zero out balance before I deposit again. (OCD and don't want to get tripped up with some goofy bonus/wagering issue with small balance)

Get down to 6 cents............play 1 cent per line on 6 lines of a 25 line slot game. Hit bonus round with 10 free spins, retrigger 3 more times........end up with 81 cents for the 40 spins. Then had to play down the 81 cents.

I hate it when that happens. Hit bonus just as you reduce bet. Typically if I know I am going to reduce my bet size I will move to a different game to avoid the bad feeling of hitting a good run right AFTER I dropped bet size. That 40 free spins on all lines at $5 would have been HUGE as it played out. I watched winning combo after another come up, but not hit my 6 sad lines bet.

Oh well...........tomorrow is another day.

Whenever I hit something good after I reduce my bet size or zeroing out I put it down to - that only happened because I lowered my stake, and I would not have hit that if I carried on betting with my previous bet size (kinda makes you feel better if nothing else).

On a happier note, don`t it feel great in vice versa mode ;)

Yes, it does feel GREAT when it happens in reverse.

This "thing" is also why when I am in a B&M casino and leave a machine -- I make sure I move far enough away from it so that I don't risk seeing someone else sit down at my former machine and hit big.

which casino are you in trying the slots? always happen to me all the time too haha.
These few days I've been losing my 2 of $50 deposits after my big win of $17,000. It's like being programmed.

Yes, though I can't say that this happens to me as much as the other way, when you raise the stakes and then you hit something good. I've made some really good hits by making a one-off crazy high bet or even by making a 'mistake' and hitting 'Max Bet'.

At the end of the day, the casino always wins. :(

Not always ---- but when they do it's usually our fault. Too many of us lack the discipline to STOP and give it back.

I work at this every single time I play..........some days more successfully than others. What's working best for me personally is to just STOP when I hit a nice win. Cashout and go to another casino. Don't return to casino until w/d has cleared.
