Don't forget to vote

Just been, not a great fan of the Tories but the prospect of the mentally-unstable Abbott, Marxist Corbyn and Wee Jimmy Krankie (Sturgeon) forming the political triumvirate from hell scares the sh!t out of me.

Conservatives it is. Couldn't imagine anything worse than that bumbling terrorist-sympathizer Corbyn and his racist drudge Abbott dismantling this country over the next five years :(

Theresa May isn't what I'd call great by any stretch but at least shows some leadership credentials and looks relatively capable.

Now someone lock that demon-monkey Sturgeon in a cupboard please :D

Well voted myself.

Never in my life did i see the day coming when i would vote conservative up here in Scotland.

But any vote against SNP and Sturgeon is all that matters .

Yeah, that's all voting seems to be these days - choosing which is the lesser of two evils. That Sturgeon though, what a muppet. If she had her way she'd have a Scottish Independence Referendum once a month! :what::what:

You are lucky down there.

We have her constantly on tv every day of the bloody week.

Sick of hearing shes putting the interests of the scottish people first.

Fact is she lost first referendum. Support is going down for another one.

I totally detest that woman and her non stop crusade for independence. Labour is nearly as bad as Corbyn i dislike but not as much as Sturgeon.

Conservative majority i will accept. Voting springs a shock and i could accept a Labour government just about. But if people think this country is a bloody mess just now then imagine if there was no overall majority and Labour could join a coalition with SNP.

Second thoughts that is to scary to even consider:eek:

As a Scotsman living here in Ireland i am not able to vote but must admit a shame the Monster Raving Looney Party does not exist anymore as thats where all the votes would have gone considering the great panel you have all in front of you.
Now Ireland has an ethnic gay man in charge and Frumpy Trumpy in charge the world is changing so quick.

Consider yourselves lucky, you dont have the misfits that we have in NI to vote for. They always say if you dont vote, its a wasted vote, to me the biggest waste of a vote is to vote for the buffoons we have on offer here.....
Lets all just pray the Peoples Republic of Corbyn doesnt get in, it will be a scary time for all of us if Jeremy and his cronies take charge, if you have the nerve to work for a living, you will pay 90% tax on all earnings over £10,000 a year to pay for some hare brained scheme that the totally loony left will come up with.....

According to the exit polls, it is rather looking messy and not clear cut for the Conservatives.

There is even a possibility that Corbyn is going to be in charge of the country :eek2::eek:

That is a horrific prospect. Nightmare scenario could come true. I'm telling you all there will be another election if the Tories don't win outright with a majority, or can't form a majority with the Ulster Unionists.

So the prediction as it stands according to the BBC:

Forecast seats: CON 318, LAB 267, SNP 32, LD 11, OTH 22

with 326 needed to form a majority.

I can foresee a minority Tory government.

As Dunover predicted, very likely another election will be on the cards very soon.

What a mess May has caused. The last thing this country needs is an unstable Government.

This very much reminds me of my home country (the Netherlands) where they are still pissing about trying to form a Government.

I can't foresee May being in charge of the party very soon either so let the division in the Tory party begin. I can hear the knives being sharpened as I write this :eek2:

Unbelievable that so many people voted for Corbyn
They must have very short memories...

So another couple of years of political chaos in the UK :(

What I don't get, is why the Torys didn't realise that all they had to do is say they will put 1% on income tax (all bands) and spend all the money raised on the NHS - and they would have had the landslide they wanted...
Health and well-being is the single most valuable thing every person needs.

May was never after a huge Thatcher-style majority, but a reset of the 5-year election timescale to encompass the long Brexit negotiations. She didn't but still got more votes and was the winner. Corbyn has done well and maxed out the Marxist/socialist/yoof vote and that is an achievement, but it also demonstrates that fortunately a leftist like him is unelectable with a majority.

Fortunately for May Sinn Fein have 5 or 6 seats which they don't take up, so she needs 323 MP's. She's 4 or 5 short but will now almost certainly get the 10 Ulster Unionists on board whom have already indicated they would talk to her. This would give her 327/328 seats and a working majority of 12, the same as before. That is what I think will happen.

Ironically the Con/DUP coalition is only possible because the Conservatives did well in their electoral desert, Scotland! Sturgeon has been silenced and had her ass whupped far more than May has but can continue to be the majority in the Scottish Parliament and concentrate on Scottish matters rather than whingeing on about another (unwanted) indyref2.

So it may not be as grim as it looks, and if she has any sense she will thin out the austerity plan and take on board some of Labour's policies to help the younger generation, and spend a bit more. So it could be OK.

What we do NOT want now is another election, it'll make us look like Italy where they have more elections than Christmases. :eek2:

It's 326 for a majority, and Sinn Fein isn't guaranteed

323 when SF don't take up their seats. Even if they did (which they won't) she'd still have a small working majority with the DUP.

You guys saved us a hell of a mess - without Scotland May could not have formed a government with the DUP. Who'd have though it Sturgeon, the psychotic Tory-hater loses 12 seats to Con, which enables another 5 years. We can't have another election now the Brexit talks are commencing so at least some stability is present now. And hopefully for you guys north of the wall, Sturgeon will STFU about indyref2. The weird world of politics. A few thousand Scots in those close Con. Scottish wins have saved us from chaos and disruption. :notworthy:thumbsup:

Like I said I ain't a great Con. fan but the alternative was too dreadful to contemplate and I think they're better equipped to deal with the Eurocraps who want us punished for leaving their E-USSR kollectiv.

I agree to all of the above RE the SNP and Sturgeon. When the election was announced I predicted that the SNP where going to get a bloody nose, but I never thought it would be mostly by the Tories!

Sturgeon has played a game of double bluff for years now because she knows just how fecked Scotland would be if they where to gain independence.

And how ironic is it to claim to want independence from the UK while aiming for full integration into the EU where they would be swallowed up and spat out.

Personally,I would have simply of handed Scotland their independence on a plate a few years ago then sat back to watch them implode.

PS. What a stupid idea to hold the Scotland v England match on a Saturday at 5pm? They are asking for trouble

Would love to see the mogg as PM, a fine well spoken true Englishman, great sense of humour to.

He doesn't look like he could fight his way out of a paper bag yet he has five kids!
I see him as a likeable personality and there are not many of those amongst the Tories. I can see him sitting back watching the other contenders knock each other out before being put forward.
PS. He's still 50-1 :D

I was going to say that most likely Corbyn would win but after Brexit and Trump's win I thought I would keep silent. :D

They say he is a socialist. I'm not sure exactly what kind of socialist he is (there's a lot of varieties) but spreading the wealth around a bit can't hurt.
They say it takes away people's motivation but there's plenty of examples that disprove it.
It will be interesting to see how things develop in the UK.

Now we know snp, and labour are not in with a respectable shout, for now we are ok. I'm perfectly happy with may as inept as she is.
I'd love to see the mogg rise, sadly it won't happen.
But as long as labour are not in power that's a good thing for the uk.
The labour vote where actually winning you know, well until the conservative voters finished work at 5/530 pm....

I actually thought that Corbyn won.
I went back and re-read it and my mistake was due to the headlines which made it appear as a Labour victory.
For example, Sky News headlines were: "General Election: Jeremy Corbyn's victory"
