Thanks for all the good wishes, guys. I am still a bit dumbfounded and numb.

It all happened very fast. He did have cancer surgery last year, but recovered beautifully and was pronounced clear. We had a wonderful year until he started complaining of pain, got scanned and was beyond even trying any treatments at all. He was in the hospital for a week but wanted to come home badly and spent a week at home and passed peacefully here.

I work on the computer all day, but get up frequently to walk around and usually have a chat with him. I miss him.
