Hi. I have been avoiding casinoes that asks for ID and other documentation because it would be a lot of work to fax it every time I go to a new casino, not to mention expensive since I'm from Norway and it would surely cost alot to get it sent from some copyshop. But I read somewhere on this forum that a .jpg of the documentation mailed to them would be enough. My question is, do I have to get my lazy behind out of the chaire and get it scanned, or can I use a digital camera?

Digital camera is fine, and in fact is the only way to go in my opinion. The good thing about doing it that way is that you can take a photo of your documentation, store it on your computer, then if you play in new casinos and they ask for it, you have it ready to e-mail with no additional effort. Also, they can't claim they couldn't read it because the fax was illegible.

In most cases, casinos prefer scanned color copies instead of a faxed one. The faxing method is archaic and the documents are far too often unreadable causing the casino to request a re-send which delays things even more. Taking a digital photo should work if it looks ok.
