Tick box should be included so we don't get ducked over with bonus terms and conditions a mile long!

I prefer the opt in. As bonuses are designed to favour the casino it must benefit a casino long term to give an opt in because those who get caught out with an auto bonus they do not want then lose may feel so aggrieved that they do not return to the casino again. It's simply about giving punters a choice

One more comment to this bonus business.

I actually prefer the CasinoRewards option most:

- I opt-in to the promo and do my deposit as usual
- Appr. 10-20 minutes later the bonus is added in Points to the Rewards account (when redeemed the amount of bonus chips credited is rounded up to the nearest $)
- hence, it never mixes deposit and bonus
- I can play first my cash balance and then redeem the points for the bonus chips.
- I can also chose to which casino in the CR group i want to have the bonus chips added.
- The bonus will be then always a "second chance" to get to a withdrawal

Bonuses seem to be very popular with a lot of members here, but since I only play BJ I have no use for them.

Here in Ohio, i-gaming goes like this: First you gotta lie to your bank, then you gotta win, THEN you gotta wait 3-5 days to get paid. It's mucked up enough without auto-bonus T&C's to meet.

Im for it, but dont affect my cashflow!

I like it when casino's give me the SUB instantly but not so happy when they start affecting my cash..

Yes I like automatic SUBs. Probably more so now that I have been bonus banned at 32Red and Casino Rewards.

That said, I am starting to veer more towards a "take SUB bonus(es), but then make most/all subsequent deposits without taking a bonus" stance.

To be honest, when I started out on the whole online slotting thing, I never envisaged a time where I would not take a bonus on a fairly regular basis. I always thought that budget constraints, along with my novice/beginner slotter status and a need to get maximum value for money/good playtime would stay true for the long term.

But how things have changed in the past 12 months, even the past 3 months for me. Now that I have learned more about things like variance, smart game selection, what actually constitutes a good bonus offer etc etc (oh the power and the beauty of Casinomeister :notworthy) , I now find myself actually turning my nose up at deposit bonuses a lot more often. Simply because having "the power to choose at all times" has become so much more important to me. Almost a case of free-dom > free money.

Do I understand why players take bonuses? Absolutely I do. I've been there. I still am there actually (but to a lesser extent). But now that I find myself on this current "less bonuses is more" path in my slotting "career", I don't think I'll ever go back to the way I used to play, where bonuses are concerned. It's taken me a while to realise it, but bonuses are not all they are cracked up to be. They are becoming a minefield, a never-ending negotation of a series of trap doors, a f*cking headache waiting to happen. F*ck that already. We just want to get down to the business/pleasure of playing the games, of hopefully getting some entertaining bang for our buck. We don't want to spend time reading several paragraphs of legalese BS than leaves you thinking "Yay! I just discovered a cure for my insomnia".

And given that more and more casinos are showing a greater willingness to impose yet more and more restrictions on what a player can or cannot do when playing with bonus funds (like playing DOA for example), bonuses will inevitably continue to become more and more unattractive to the player. Even those who find themselves taking bonuses on a regular basis now (because they have to strictly adhere to a limited gambling budget) may just find themselves throwing the head up one day in the future and saying "What's the effing point in these bloody bonuses? They are more trouble than they are worth!"

Bonus shady

I don't like the bonus to be added automatically especially when the bonus locks your real money and you will get stuck and you lose everything, i like to be a free bird whenever i feel playing deposit withdraw done no strings attached

The way we do it, we don't lock up your cash...that would not be cool for any player...

I have been playing blackjack for close to 20 years now...aint nobody touching my cashflow;)

Totally feel you on that one!

I think nothing is ever free so bonus equals a pita and I am always on the free side of life every thing else cost something..lol St. Patty's Day think the bed is calling

Although it's rare for me to turn down a bonus, I prefer an opt in system, or even a pop up that asks if you would not like this particular bonus. Either way, it warns you in advance that the deposit you are making is eligible for an offer. It avoids not knowing, and then finding out that the bonus has been added during the start of the session, which you may be playing in a manner inconsistent with bonus terms.

The Casino Rewards and 32Red systems are good, however I recall that SUBs at Dash were automatic, even though strictly speaking I shouldn't have been eligible having had the 32Red offers many years ago. Pat said it was OK, I could keep it, but this kind of automatic adding in other skins can cause a player to fall foul of a one SUB per player over all the skins term, which has become much more common.

If this is the right place to vote/comment on bonuses here . Good, if not, sorry.
Anyway, I think a simple button would suffice. IN/OUT.
I also think that because of the coffee, wear and tear that we save, security etc, that 1st deposit should be doubled with no wagering extras

Seperate

I would like to get a choice weather i want a bonus or not.
However, if bonus is not directly linked to the deposit so it is possible to withdraw if bonus funds haven't been utilised, then I wouldn't mind the bonus being auto...

I prefer seperate Bonus to Deposit

Bonus is awesum But I prefer using my own money, if I win early I can always withdraw it easy .

Automatic Sign-up bonuses

I would rather prefer to make a request for bonus, let it be an old-school, but I can sleep tight if I win at least something and no need for crazy rollovers...

I hate when it is automatically added, because then I have to go through the live chat procedure of asking for it to be removed and excluding myself from all future promotions and bonus offers.
I like to play "clean" so to speak.

sign up bonus

Yes i love my sign up bonuses  More playtime and wr means very little to me.

automatic SUB

nope nope nope
It takes away the control of the consumer, and almost in my opinion feels pushy and a little shady. I sometimes use bonuses and sometimes I dont, so I believe we need to be given the choice!!
