Had a 2000 cash in at Roadhouse and since then have got absolutely Jack sh----!!..I have noticed before once you cash in they tighten so that nothing pays and if you get the free spins, again they pay very poor...My wife and I both have a computer each, and separate accounts and she seems to still get drops with hers but she has not had a payout....Does anyone else find that they tighten after a pay out and how long do they stay tight.????

It happens all the time to me in 90% casinos that I play, even in reputable casinos (nice exception is Harrods). After payout I usually don't win anything until my deposits are equal or more than my win.

LOL. Same here but with good reason i think. I tend to cash out after a winning streak. Note i say "after" - by this time i have detected a downward turn. Therefore its kinda logical that i'm not finished on this downward turn as i just cashed out, so it will continue next time. Usually - not always :)

Or a more mathematical way of looking at it:

House Edge = 5%
Simmo! deposits $1,000
Wins $3,000
Cashes out $2,000
Loses $1,000
Goes on a date.
Comes back. ( next day :p )
Deposits $2,000
Loses $2,050
---------------------------------------
Total Loss = $50
House Edge on Initial Deposit = 5%
Expected Loss $50
---------------------------------------
Dumps date claiming financial irregularities.
("Its not you, it's me...")

Starts over.

In the RTG casino I oversaw their was no way of customizing the casino for one player. What we would do on a more consistent winner was to flag them and give them smaller bonuses. As for the software went it had no idea if you were winning or losing. Anything more than that is a case for the X-Files.

NB!!!

It makes sense, seems likely to be true, and now there's an ex casino manager (apparently) confirming it. Thanks for posting this.

I like the way you put it: The software has no idea if you're winning or losing.

i.e. no Win Switch (or rather, Lose Switch...) guys! (Even in RTG)

Cheers,
SM

But the RTG casinos can change the payout % for all slot machines (just not individual ones).

Thx for the info phynqster.

General tweak

I think it's true that if a casino pays out rather more than it would like, it tends to recover profit by having tighter promotions the next time round. I have certainly noticed this at Spin Palace, where it looks like the profit from the previous month determines how tight or loose the new promotions will be.
Currently, WR on bonuses has crept up to 15x from 12x a couple of months ago, and Blackjack is weighted at 10% rather than 20%. This WR "inflation" rarely goes back the other way:mad:

unreal!

The fact that you cashed out $2k at roadhouse is unbelievable. That place sucked up my $500 in about 45 minutes.Their on my list of casinos that suck royal. Now watch all the paid puppets sound off.

I must admit since the cash in it has been really tight but prior to this the casino games paid pretty consistantly..Its also good with the combo match up bonus as it certainly gives extra spins, and if your'e lucky will give a good run for your money..I cant relly comlain as I am way out in front, i'm just waiting for them to start payng again..I find this casino okay.

I find that hard to believe, since the software itself keeps track of wins and losts. It's a calculator/bookkeeping program also. It's design to make money not to payout. You as a manager might can't control it. But its written into the program. I refuse to believe otherwise

I have never played at roadhouse but I totally believe that certain casinos get tight after a cashin. It always happens to me! specially with intercasino.. I won a rapid fire jackpot of 670 bucks last week and I've tried to recapture the magic and nothing. but oh well its to be expected if yer gonna throw it all back at them, ha. Although my husband did have some luck there today and were up by 200 on that 670.

Listen, every time somebody feels like posting yet another conspiracy theory I wish they would just stop and think about it for a second. What would be the motivation for tightening the cashout for a specific player after he's had a big win? To make sure that the player will give back some of his winnings? But why would the casino care if the money they gain comes big winning players or loosing players? As long as the overall gain is there the casino will make money, and the overall gain is there since all the games have a houseedge. In the long run, big winning players will give back their wins if they keep playing. Could it be that they want to make sure that every player wins once in a while? So they move some money from overall winners to overall losers. But statistically, every player will win once in a while. There is no need to tighten anything. Again, in the long run the payouts will even out for all players.

Some conspiracy theories at least make sense (the casino raises the house-edge to gain profit for instance) but this one just doesn't. And if you firmly believe it's true I can only recommend that you never go back to a plce after a big win.

So

After winning about more than 1,000 USD or I am afraid the
amount is more or less than so, my BJ bet range was LUCKILY
"UPgraded" to USD 1 - USD 100 from USD 1 - USD 500 which is
LITTLE BIT difficult for "PROFESSIONAL" players like me who is
a genius making money out of BJ but very "UNREPUTABLE" to a
casino which is called GEISHA LOUNGE WHICH somehow is
ACCREDITTED by MEISTER here.

They even stopped sending me e-mails to me which were flowing
my e-mail box as a VIP player once upon a time.

I think I HAVE NO TIME FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL GEISHA ANY MORE
since I am now considered a "bonus abuser" or whatever that
American phrasing is stating here and there.

So I think we should understand first and foremost that ”Casinos
can do anything whatever they want" as someboday who was
"reputed" in this forum said before which is a complete BULL---
to me.
