Sounds like your only friends is not slots. You have a wife and kids. You should be putting them first and not slots.

It might be a mean post that people dont like but i dont feel sorry for you. I get addiction can be brutal but youhave a family to care and support and make sure there is food on the table. If you dont stop this you will lose not just money but your kids and wife.

Enough is enough. Go get help if you love your kids. Jesus.

I guess you do know that there is a lot of help to get in Sweden if you want to quit playing. To chose slots in front of every thing that really matters is really awful but it doesn't need to be the end of your life.
Please get some help.

no i lost my wife and kids aswell. just because of this shit. I am on the bottom of a deep sea and i really cant quit. Ive lost exaktly everything

Well you are smart enough to realize what you are doing is wrong and unhealthy.

Quit. Get help. Get a job and work on getting your family back instead of working on a big win.

It is never to late to start down the road to recovery.

Yes you have encountered some horrid losses along the way (and I don't mean just money, I mean the things you have mentioned)

Make TODAY the day you STOP and start on the hard but doable route to getting back on your feet, even if its a simple step by visiting some quit gambling websites, there is even a help section on this forum

Good luck you CAN do it!

I'm not sure if you can do that by yourself, but I will report this thread and the moderators will do it for you.

It is a good idea to get away from gambling before it gets much, much worse. Losing 3000 Euros on Gonzo's Quest and 40,000 Euros overall in 2017 is awful. Hoping the best for you, mate!

Wow.... 40K in 2017 already !?

I really don't know why you're staking so big on a game like Gonzo's Quest ? In my experience, on this game.. It takes a long, long time to get a big hit.

I won £200+ on a £0.20p stake on Gonzo's Quest in the free spins !! No-one can quit with a click of their fingers but.. If you do continue to gamble, you should seriously lower your stakes on a game like Gonzo's Quest (£0.20p - £1.00)

You will get a big hit in time with these stakes.. If this game is always cold, I suggest you stay well away from it (Maybe try Jungle Jim El Dorado)

But I would listen to the other members of the forum and seek help quick !! Knowing that you've lost more than your money because of gambling, you should already be seeking it.

I lost £30 today, I'm gutted !! It got whipped cream cheese... Now it's gonna take me a good week of freebies (If any fly around) to make me deposit again :D

Stop, think then act.... Don't act, think then stop  You need your family and friends back.

Sad for sure.

You could try going analogue.
What i mean is, Ditch the broadband. Get a phone that only makes/takes calls IE no internet.
Do all banking in the high street etc.

This will help motivate and gravitate you away from playing slots.
You will be making an effort and you will find that effort much more rewarding than slots.

Even if it just for 3 months, It could turn your life around.

If you can ditch the internet...Do It.

Good luck and all the best.

Make this day 1 of you're turnaround and take each day at a time. If you can't stay away from slots completely, then set yourself a small budget and once spent, leave it at that. Recall what you have lost already and how you don't want to increase you're losses - set a goal (i.e. winning your wife back) and take baby steps towards reaching that goal, you will feel soooo much better for minor achievements, even going one day without playing slots.

I really do wish you the best of luck, this is a fine example of how any addiction can thrive and the damage it can do, no doubt bring reality to many of just how much they gamble.

Op your addiction has destroyed your life but you can get it back. First thing to do is STOP gambling period. Don't do small deposits or anything this is like giving a drink to an alcoholic or a hit to a drug addict. You may think you can control it but soon it will be out of control again. There are many resources out there that do help with gambling addictions. Cognitive behavioural therapy has been proven to be a great approach. I am not sure if that is available to you where you are but you should check it out.

Go to your local Gamblers Annon meeting every day. Write down all the positive things that you want to do with your life going forward and put it in places that you see several times a day. Replace gambling with a healthy hobby exercise, art or anything that is not gambling related. Get Gamblock software for your computer, get a trusted relative to handle your finances for you from now on until you are feeling stronger. Make sure you self-exclude from every online casino that you have an account with. I am not sure if you can do this but can you ask your bank to reject any gambling related transactions? If so do. Try to remove all temptations. It will be a damn hard journey but worth it and if you stick with your recovery then life for you will start to look much brighter. It begins today.

This is a scary thread. I got a pm from the OP last night where he said that death would be the only solution now probably, and then he logged out which mean he hasn't read my reply either. I hope he wasn't serious, but I also know that it happens too often that they are.

Please people be aware that gambling addiction is strong and can be very dangerous. If you feel you've lost control please look for help in time because it's never too late. Never!

Oh man, I am with you, I truly hope he didn't mean it! I'm sorry you were the one to get that PM, your head must be spinning. I really hope the OP takes everyones advice and seeks help.

Once again Sara, you are right, it is NEVER to late to get help!

I've asked the mods to place you in the Quit Gambling section. There's a lot of good threads there that you may find helpful.

You are not alone in your struggle. Talk with your doctor, and join Gambler's Anonymus.

Your wife did not leave YOU. She left a GAMBLER.

Change that and you may have a chance at winning her back.

I wish you the best. It may take a long time to crawl out a financial hole, but you'll never do it while gambling.

Yes i will from yesterday really try to do something about this. And for u that did not feel sorry for me❤️. It was not because of that i made a thread here, i did it because in that moment i had to say something. I dont wont anyone to feel sorry for me.
